MIELE CX1 HEAD NOT WORKING SEE MY OTHER VIDEO AT

THANK YOU!!!! The tip about the extra screws below the wheels and that the wheels snap out was the key. After that, it was a pain getting the clear plastic part to separate from the bottom because of the barbed snap-in features. After I got it apart, I knocked the edges off those barbs with a Dremel tool to make it easier to get apart next time. It's beyond me why they design it such that is is so hard to disassemble.

Thank you so much for showing how to fix a Miele jammed brush head. It saved me £72 for a replacement. I only had to remove the inspection cover to free the brush - all caused by a sliver of broken glass which fell out.

Thank you for this excellent video. I was able to take this apart and thoroughly clean it on the basis of your instruction. It's true the centering is occasionally off, so that one can't see parts of what you are doing, but this was still very inspiring!

Thank you sir, I was about to throw away mine, but found your instructional video - worked perfectly. I would have been in trouble - but watched a few parts over a number of times - and it now works as well as new. For me there were strands of cotton and hair wrapped around the sweeping bar at the ends.

Aaahhhh ... this would be fantastic but I can't see what you're doing in the important parts! The camera didn't show your hands and the parts when you were putting the pieces back together. I now have all my parts but I can't see how to put some of them back together. When I prised the thing open, pieces just flew everywhere so I don't know where some of them fit together.

Thanks for this video, it helped me pull the thing apart when I got coat thread wound around the axle. I didn't know there were screws under the wheels. :P When I put it back together, I couldn't see in the video how the triangular piece fit back in because of the camera angle but I figured it out.

I am a domestic cleaner by trade and have one of these heads. I usually just cut the hair out of it using scissors but decided to pull apart today and more hair and dust definitely came out from parts you cannot get to otherwise. I was not however, able to pull it completely apart where the clear plastic clips are, they are stuck fast !! put back together and now the brush isnt working properly

Exactly, I have long hair, so as my daughter. I need to clean it every third time use. Mielen couldn't make it more difficult to clean it. I don't understand why they couldn't thought how to make it easier to clean it

Too bad the belt and brush cannot separate. In fact, too bad this head has clearly been designed not to be disassembled or deep cleaned. My Dyson cordless brush just slipped straight out for easy cleaning, but the suction is way lower. Maybe someone should invent a dyson/miele head adapter!
