Miele S2111 - After Refurbishment!

I'll say now that I'm not a fan of this machine! But, it's all done, all refurbished and all working well, let's have a look at how well it came up!

I have the same hoover as I mentioned. I had it for 4 yrs now. the bearings on mine are gone but it still works

It's a shame that they do that, the motors really are not very strong. You going to change the bearings or just run it until it dies?

They are definitely the budget end, but work so well. It looks very similar to my Asda budget bagged , the design is very similar, but yours works soooooo much better x

Yes, it does still have the performance. I just can't love it though, especially knowing how cheaply a tol better one can be had for

I have this model but the bag holder is missing. Does anyone know the model number of the holder I need to get and also does the holder need a separate spring please?

Good work, I have two of these machines (now the C1 classic) and personally am impressed with the amount of suction they have and the floor tools always seem to give good results, they don't get loads of use though and I only use genuine bags. I also have had an S5 and a C3 before, unfortunately the on/off pedal on the S5 broke and actually found the C3 a bit cumbersome and wasn't amazed by the quality over the S2/ C1 classic

I've had many S5's now, in the uk their going through their utterly worthless stage. I've got an S5 Revolution that was free, must fix that up one day

Same model I have, but I have An electric power head for it. They’re great! Super light weight

I think I'm just too used to the older ones, and the s5 quality, I really didn't like this as much. Granted its a terrible example though, and I'm not basing my opinion of them on this particular cleaner

Facebook, ebay, other collectors, or just keep them! Combination of all of that. Some you see aren't mine anyway, just refurb jobs so I get all the fun of experiencing and showing them, with none of the hassle of ownership!

Yep, even with new bearings. However, I've not had it back so its either soldering on, or it's dead by now... That's the problem with miele motors, once they go, they go. This one was on the edge a bit

@@beko1987 on Sunday we picked up a bosch bagged vacuum and it had been used bagless it blinded me when we turned it on bit it is running fine now

In Australia that model is made in China I don't know if that's the same with you.

I don't know, but it's sure got that feel of build quality about it to suggest it might be
