Being from the area it’s cool to see this. Having a little experience in making sausage it’s neat seeing how others do things. Well done! Steve

Well done Luke! For your first episode that was solid. Glad you got the gig - fun to see someone from Viroqua making it to the big time :) Look forward to this season, and more after that!

Love Meisfelds! Came here to say. The sausage guys, why bother wearing hair nets and not beard nets. Everyone had facial hair. Just saying' seems like you would want the beard net.

Please, could the owner learn to pronounce the name correctly! It is Mees-FELD not Mees-field.

Didn't see any mention of the Kyle to Chef Luke transition, but okay, no credit where credit's due. Didn't portray Miesfield as producing anything special versus their giant neighbor. Most that I got out of this is that Miesfield is a family business, good employer, clean kitchen, great. I like that, but that's all?

Had to dig around a bit to find out (maybe?) what happened. Kyle recently had a daughter, and is stepping back to spend time with his family. That is the story anyway. Maybe some conflict with producing team? Maybe Kyle is moving up (he was a midwest emmy winner after all). You're right though, would have been nice to have a transition or hand off - especially since we know Kyle and Luke know eachother well enough. Luke definitely seems to have what it takes, and brought a lot of energy to the episode. He needs some polish, but then again, so did Kyle when he started.

@@j.edwardsawlaw4735 I like this series, but frankly, I think both presenters are a bit too excitable. Some of the farmers and producers they interview seem to get a bit annoyed and feel uncomfortable around them.
