I still have the original Mifo 05s and they served me well. I recently purchased the SoundPEATS H1s and I love the sound quality and features of these new earbuds. But the charging case for the Mifo’s is such a nicer build quality than the SoundPEATS. Love the solid aluminum housing and pretty sure it has an 18650 lithium battery inside.

Best thing about the Mifo with buttons is that you can turn on and off whenever and leave them on a table or a pocket without worrying about them draining out. That what I used to do with the originals, leave the case at home and only take the buds alone.

I actually really like how the Gen 2 gives you the option to purchase them with either touch sensor control or click button control... I'm always accidently pausing my old pair (from a different brand).. so I like that it has the same quality as the touch version while also giving me better control... HOWEVER there are only 2 things that I really don't like..1st the charger port is short so the charger only goes in the port half way which is SUPER annoying because it's constantly falling out with the slightest movement regardless what cord is used or will NOT fully insert into the charger port more than half way...2nd they are marketed as one of the best buds for athletics and exercising because stay in your ear and even if you rapidly shake or move your head and this is not the case in my own personal experience....otherwise they are perfect

yeahhh mine gen 1 and gen 2 fall from my ear, but the overall quality makes me choice those over a lot of others... sadly my mifo o5 original falls soo much times when running that eventually it falls and i step on it LOL, it not smashed totally, but get dead bud... after 2 years of usage, the second gen 2 already got dead when i clean it up, no sure but i guess in my try to make it really clean i just took inside a hole with small pince and it is a place where nothing should enter... soo, i really like those mifo, but i now want 2 thinks, same battery usage and solar charging case will be the most, if we have a mifo o5 solar or something will be a blast to me... and i hope gen 3 comes with clear anti dumb, because the one i got wood stick those forr cleanning teeth and take out all dirty and keep working, i could even see some metal parts into it, the gen 2 is pure plastic but when i was trying to get out of dirty inside it, i fell the point into some hole before trying to remove it and just got dead bud... soo, design of that portion in 1 was better in my view, and the rest on 2, leak better recharging capability, but the already run time was amazing

Very good product apparently. But, as you so aptly put it, there are a number of good products in the same price range that offer certain additional features today. On the other hand, what I cannot explain to myself, this is why no brand thinks of using one of the main features of bluetooth 5.2 which is multipoint 🤷🏽‍♂️. In my opinion, this is really the ''functionality'' that is supposed to differentiate the new earbuds from the old ones and also to attract more iOS users who are apparently very attached to the automatic switch between different devices.

Looks like mifo o5 (gen1) and mifo o7 had a baby. Had both of them. And I preferred the o5 for its 100hr battery case and physical buttons. The o7 when left unpaired out of the case will shut itself off and the only way to turn them back on is to drop them into the case and pick them up again. Touch sensitivity was also finicky at times especially when using under the shower. Am expecting this o5 gen2 to behave exactly like the o7 I preferred the pogo pin connector placement of the o7, being more secure in the case and at the tip of the earbud. The o5 (gen1) sometimes needs a little nudge to make sure it charges. The gen 2 seems to retain the same placement. But sound quality and water resistance is amazing for these mifos. Until they decide to stop charging and turn themselves into paperweight. Try to get 1yr warranty for these.

You didn't mention that it doesn't have transparency (pass-through) mode. Though the non-touch version DOES have transparency mode, and mifo's product page claims this touch version does as well, it does not.

Thanks for doing a mic sound test as if you were on a call. I think it doesn't sound clear and the quality isn't there when you test your voice through the head set mic. I've been trying to find a headset that would have make my voice clear for who I'm talking to. I will take this one off my list. If you have any suggestions for a headset that would be make calls clear for both sides of the conversion, then great!

How to I get it to stop blipping noises in the wind or with my hood up…all I can hear is loud wind over my music and sometimes it blocks it out sometimes it doesn’t and occasionally the left one cuts out for a few seconds randomly then just kicks back in. It have only been using them 2 weeks.

Hi mate, I’m purchasing these with intentions to use them up the slopes while wearing a helmet. I’ve used earbuds in helmets before and I always have problems accidentally activating voice control, songs pause and skip etc and it does my head in to the point I no longer bother. I heard there is two versions of these headphones one being the Mifo 05 gen 2 touch activated model and the other Mifi Plus gen 2 model with plush buttons. Do you sell both versions and which one would you recommend for my situation to prevent accidentally kicking off voice controls and song skips and pauses etc while riding as the side of the help or snowboard googles is always pushing up against my ears

Within three months of purchasing these (uncomfortable) earbuds the left one just stopped working. I have now jumped through the same (countless) hoops, repeatedly. For example: Power: Make sure your devices are powered on. It seems like an obvious thing, but sometimes, you might need to double-check it due to power-saving mode or sleep mode; otherwise, devices won’t sync. Compatibility: Make sure both the devices are compatible and support each other. Proximity: Normally, Bluetooth devices remain paired for up to 30 feet. You’ll notice distortion, so keep devices close to each other for better performance. Modes: Make sure the airplane or power-saving mode is turned off. Interference: Get away from any potential source of interference that might affect the Bluetooth connectivity. Updates: Make sure the Bluetooth version is updated. Charge: Some devices support smart power management, due to which you might face connectivity issues if you have low charging. So keep it charged. Power: If you are unable to resolve the issue try switching off and then on. Settings: If you are unable to pair after trying different ways, try to delete saved settings that might have been corrupted and start fresh. The advice was: turn it on and then off again - OK, IT crowd. Once I returned the product and the receipt they claimed the needed evidence of the return - which I then gave, I have heard NOTHING since then, complete silence. Dodge this brand!

you are buying a not secure brand, RMA is not even a think for those... defective pair is sad, i have both gen 1 and gen 2 for a long time, sadly both break for bad use, not product issue, is the best earbuds i ever have for the reasson i got hose, run time experience... now i need a new one and i have trouble finding a better long use ear buds or some new upgrade as solar panel in case to never charge it at outlets or some better stuff as inside earbuds itself a solar panel or some other way to haverst energy as heat energy from our own body, not know if anyone has those qualities, but components that make those exists already, maybe not good enought for those small sizes

Bought mifo o5 few years back. Love it. Very comfortable to use inside my helmet. Sound Quality very impresssive. But I find the smooth surface can be slippery and after dropping it several time when removing my helmet, it kaput. Now looking to buy again but still unsure on the new touch screen instead of the button. I am afraid it may be too sensitive when putting on my helmet, may reset it. Anyone can comment on this?

Stick to your old mifo05, the touchscreen feature is horrible, sweat drop sliding down your earbuds ( or even splashes from raindrops) would alter my volume up/down quite frequently, very irritating. My workout while using this earbuds consist of either Tabata or Jump ropes, so I yes I do sweat a lot. Even walking under the rain with my umbrella had the same issue. Request for an exchange as I thought well it should be faulty, but I encounter the same exact problem, in addition to lose connection on the slave earbud. I could say that I am unlucky, until my friend bought it as well and stumbled upon the same issues.

I have the push button 05 Gen 2s. For video playback it's "get used to-able" for video games.... If you want to play video games, grab a cheap pair of Tranya T20s and use the Mifos for general listening. The tranya T20s aren't perfect but I was ae to play Sonic the Hedgehog without the delay in the jump sound driving me nuts.

Here you go!! Mifo 05 Reset (Restore Factory Settings) Method: 1) Delete the Bluetooth name, Mifo 05 on Android under Settings 2} Turn off Bluetooth on the phone by short pressing the Blue Tooth icon 3) Grab both earbuds and long press the Power button on each of them at the same time 4) Long press until 2 PINK lights (not red) appear and wait till they flash twice. This means the earbuds have been reset. (may not work on first attempt). 5) Put both earbuds into the charging case at the same time. 6) After 5 seconds, take out both earbuds at the same time. At this time, the earbuds will be interconnected. ********* 7) Click on Settings and use Bluetooth Search to find Mifo 05. It should show Mifo 05 as an available device. 8) Tap on the name and it should show under Paired Devices mifo_05 Connected for phone and media audio
