this alternative history is one of my favorites. the USA building mechs would be crazy and all the mechs were named after fighter jets

Can always count on Geopolitical rivalries even with an apocalyptic alien invasion 😅

I said it on the last video but man Russian TSF designs are goat'd in looks and how they are used. The MiG-21 with it's paint scheme and orange sensors has to be at least top 5 of my favorite TSF's. Seeing them doing a Laserjagd in the show was epic especially the one where the Jolly Roger's backed them up. Man I really wish I could remember what else I said in my comment in the previous upload xD

19:30 it seems you are impression that Mikoyan and Gurevich are same person. they are two sepperate people. Also , the E in Gurevich is long and pronounced one . not shy and tame one.

Also , it is not Aligatori It is Aligator. In Russian, the word for "alligator" is аллигатор (pronounced ah-lee-GAH-tor). Here's a breakdown of the pronunciation: а (ah) - sounds like the "a" in "father." л (l) - sounds like the "l" in "lip." и (ee) - sounds like the "ee" in "see." га (gah) - sounds like the "ga" in "garden." то (tohr) - the "to" is soft, like "tor" with a slightly rolled "r." So, the full pronunciation is approximately: ah-lee-GAH-tor.

Give it to the Russians to try and beat the Americans at their technological advantage, but realistically there was so way they could have beaten the American, and there is no shame in that considering how much the Soviets lost throughout the war against the BETA. That didn’t stop them from fighting to the bitter end against the alien threat and they paid for their successes with blood and sacrifices.

I am really sorry for doing this , but i cant help my self. It is not Spirit vase. The Russian nickname for the MiG-25 is "Спиртовоз" (Spirtovoz), which literally translates to "Alcohol Carrier" or "Spirit Carrier." С (s) - sounds like the "s" in "see." п (p) - sounds like the "p" in "pen." и (ee) - sounds like the "ee" in "see." р (r) - rolled "r" sound. т (t) - sounds like the "t" in "top." в (v) - sounds like the "v" in "victory." о (o) - sounds like the "o" in "pot." з (z) - sounds like the "z" in "zebra." So, it’s pronounced approximately as "Speer-toh-VOHZ".
