I'm new to it all and I just started attempting Tig. I bought a spot welding nozzle which was preventing my ignition and I have been trying hard to figure out why this machine isn't working. Thanks for the tip. I will try it againt tomorrow.

Can I tig weld aluminum with this machine? I know you can buy the optional spool gun but I want to tig weld aluminum. If I can set it up to do so what supplies would I need to tig weld aluminum? I would be willing to get it if I could set it up to do that. Thanks!

This is a Lift Start Tig and not a Scratch Start Tig as indicated in the video? Looks like lift start to me.

So, just bought this unit and when I try to weld dual shield the machine just cuts off. I do have it on DCEN polarity and leads are correct. What's the issue? Also I notice you didn't show this process,why is that?

The 140i states in pdf that it weights 34 Lbs, now, this machine being a heftier 200 Amp welder, how can it weight less than 30 Lbs? This makes no sense.

I recently purchased an Eastwood TIG 200 to tig and stick weld. It was advertised as being able to MIG, TIG and Stick. I've watch several Eastwood videos and not one of them show an example of the units that are advertised to accomplish stick welding, stick weld. The tech briefly discuss the units being able to stick but again, the tech never shows the unit(s) stick welding. You guys are starting to make me believe the unit can not stick weld. Heck, a stick weld stinger doesn't even come with the unit. You have to purchase extra. Do you have a video that shows actual TIG 200 stick welding. I would like to see you guys run through a few different electrodes, say 6010 and 7018 with different amperage ranges.

if you can make a good clean tig weld then there the same welding is welding, your joining to metals together
