Why did you found floor tile at the enterance?

By loading the game with the herb on screen and clicking where it was on the first frame makes the game think you clicked an item with the value of the herb but inside the cave, which just so happens to be the tile.

Trying to get the tile at the start by replicating what you are doing here with saving and loading between stables and main. It didn't seem to work. Is there something I might be missing here. How does the tile trick work.

Load save in front of herb outside, then load save inside the temple and spam click where the herb was. The game will try to pick up the item with the identifier of the herb but the map changed and it's now the tile.

what's the idea behind the crimes segment? the link doesn't explain

When I do the potion glitch, the effect expiry time is written to quest bits (current time + effect duration). This run is all about doing the potion glitch at the right time to overwrite the quest bits with certain values. So the crimes are just to pass some time to get the values to line up. Luckily it's only a few years.
