You can get 1000 gold from the fountain next to the armor shop, if a char has more than 15 luck and also total gold is less than 200

Default setup is well balanced for the whole game. Knight > Thief > Cleric > Sorcerer. Monks are exceptionally powerful later in the game though, you could literally solo everything with a Monk. I remember as a kid being so proud of killing that dragon in the cave. It's where I first learnt the kite mechanic that served me well in many other games. Listen to when the dragon fired, turn around and shoot your ranged abilities, then turn back and run. Repeat until dragon dies. Of course, it took abour 15 minutes to kill it, but it was worth it!

Later in the game you can become ridiculously overpowered. The secret is the well at Lannister's house in the land of giants. You want to have Grandmaster body Magic before you start drinking from their. You'll be subjected to random effects such as, turn to stone, death or even eradication. You can also get, extra xp, gold and skill points. Just make sure do you have Grandmaster protection from Magic on when you drink from there.

the body of the dragon DOES not disappear when leaving the cave. You can go to the blacksmith and sell anything you don't want and then go back to looting the dragon's corpse again and again

You can walk right over to stone city, save in front of the magic shop till you buy 3 invis scrolls and a jump scroll (shop resets every few weeks if you can't get more than 1 to spawn in the shop). go into nighton tunnels, jump over the ledge near the stone city entrance and invis scroll in the cleared room full of friendly warlocks, make your way to nighton and get either a wind master or walk to the entrance in the west (near the mana restore well). then invis scroll past eofol tunnels, you will need to save a lot to walk past the behemoths but medusas are super easy to walk past. while in the eofol tunnels you should move to the top left corner to reinvis (it's before the infamous ledge jump). Once you hit eofol/land of giants you get an early blaster (you can't use it till way later) and access to the most OP well of all, the eofol wishing well. Simply right click over your portrait and spam your action key (space by default) this gives infinite gold and infinite skill points and you can do this level 1.

Or you can get a savefile editor and do exactly what you said with 5 minutes of work. If you're gonna cheat you might as well be efficient and not try to pretend like it isn't cheating by jumping through so many unnecessary hoops.

The method I described doesn't take long. 2. there's no use of external programs just what's in the game and 3. while you might not agree with exploits some people enjoy playing it that way it's a single player game afterall. Nobody cares about your cheating honor in a (nearly)25 year old game especially one as short and easy as mm7.

Hi it is basically the same principle for The Titans' Stronghold. You run round and round, avoiding projectiles and you can kill all of them. Quite long work, but rewards are worthy and with that stuff early in the game you can benefit the equipment. Another glitch comes from the Mercenary Guild, you can kill the guards even the strongest luring them on the other side of the wall. Just press continously A for attack keeping the distance thanks to the wall and you will defeat all of them. Only thing you have to pay attention to AI when they try to flee because they move in a place you cannot reach.

So way back when, like 2001 I got that game and a cloth map from Goodwill. So before I wad able to really use the internet freely due to it not being in my part if the town yet, I figured the dragon thing out. I come back once a year to kill it, I swear. First time down a lot of saves, didn't know about the quick save thing yet, but bows and paused saves reloaded over and over I felt like I was a hacker man, and I made the game make its dragon give me ALL the artifacts. The club of stupidity is still my favorite because it blew my mind when I got it back when I was a kid.

there's only a small chance that it doesn't disappear when looted. You need to save the game when it doesn't disappear and keep reloading when it does.

Also this exploit allows easy start and mid game for an ALL caster team(I once played as 2 sorcs, 1 druid and 1 cleric and it was awesome) or All monk team. Which have really good end game but weak early game.

I played Might & Magic VI several times. I did start MM7 once, but I don't know why I didn't go very far or finish it.

I also played MM6 several times, but I prefer MM7. In most parts it's just a straight improvement on the mechanics established in MM6, I think.

@@Xeridar That's what I've heard. But I'm weird in that I can start something and then get distracted for whatever reason and not return. I do have MM7 from GOG, so I should look into playing it.

In my opinion MM7 is grey you have a lot of grey MM6 was colorfull and also longer. I think the problem was the one year for the development because of 3DO. A lot of things are there like the manticore (that exists in the arena) the cyclops. A lot of things that we see on the map. The music and story idea are good but they couldn't execute the story because they hadn't enough time. Overall MM7 could have been the better MM6 but the development time was way to short.

if 6 didn't have op hybrid classes and absolutely awful to play through dungeons(VARN,Darkmoor) I'd prefer it over 7. Still an all time classic though.

Please, i Need a answer to this: There is a map of Erathia, Every single Detail (beside there are no cyclopse in this Game)... there is a big „castle“ in the South of the map (orange colour) - what place is it in the Game? - and, i played this Game many times but Never see manticores as enemies, even rumors said there Exist? Sorry for this „wired“ question, but i have to know :)

The castle could be the School of Sorcery. I mean they say Spyre, so it could be a random spyre. The manticore exists in the arena but they don't appear anywhere else. I think they wanted to include more stuff in the game but i got rushed because of 3DO so a lot of things are missing. I mean there are also no devils in Barrow Downs or cyclops because we have titans.

Manticore occasionally appears in the Arena, not sure what level your party has to be (believe 30-40s) range. That monster has a ranged attack and frequently poisons.

might and magic always has some super broken early game strategy. in 3, 4, and 5 it was mirror codes. in 6 it was the secret teleport on the roof of one of the guilds that teleports you to a secret area. im sure 8 has one too but idk what it is.

In M&M5 I'd say it is the cloud world, allowing early game access to the desert that contains a full obsidian set that can be obtained without any kind of battle.

Interesting! Didn't know this dragon is vulnerable to fire damage. Always did this boss with all buffs (except Haste pedestal) and it'd take 15-20min. If ever do this game again, this'll save time. Btw, take Malwick quest so you've excuse to rampage in Mercenary Guild later :)

I never managed to stop the dragon corpse from disappearing after looting. Maximum of 2-3 times, never infinitely. Is there any specific way to do that?

No, it is completely random. Sometimes it takes a lot of attempts for the corpse not to disappear

Hi, I am a huge fan of MM6 and know all the glitches there and I know that the 1 hp bug is only available on the original first version of the game. Now I just bought the MM7 and i am a complete noob on that game. Are your great explanations working on a "red fly" copy of the game? Or do I need a special version as well?

I guess you will have to give it a try to know for sure. I'd assume some, because everything I did in this video was possible with the latest patch (GOG version) of the game.

Good question - I don't know for sure. If you accepted the quest in die dialogue... probably yes. If you just got the NPC killed by the dragon flies: No.

Sorry but if you are blatantly exploiting a imo glitch with endless loot you might as well use a character editing tool and give yourself all the items / gold you want and save yourself a lot of time and stress. The argument: "I am not cheating, I am using this game mechanic is crap and you are deceiving yourself". This is cheating.
