Lawyer here! You’re 100% right Morgan. The prenup term would most likely be considered an invalid provision as it’s against public policy to make another person agree to have sexual relations with you, contractually, at the risk of not getting any assets after a divorce.

I mean that can lead to forced sex, sa and abuse so I’d hope a reasonable court wouldn’t hold that. I dunno if it’s because I have ptsd around physical touch. But I feel that would be so traumatizing for any man or woman. Which also made me question the other way around. If a man isn’t willing and can’t get hard. Then what? He loses everything? Just doesn’t seem logical nor justifiable. So I’m glad to know

Story 5- I am a good thrifter and have had a few situations where people have wanted to borrow an item that was then ruined or lost, and the excuse was always, “Well, you only spent X amount of dollars so it’s no big deal,” when it would cost 10x as much to replace that item to buy it new, since it’s unlikely I would come across it again at a thrift store. It’s super invalidating! For the wife in this situation, she needs to STOP. So rude and an invasion of privacy and there is no trust with her family anymore as a result.

Story 3 - It blows my mind that people are okay with stipulations like that, I personally feel like it’s a form of coercion. That prenup one basically puts all the blame for a dead bedroom on the wife. What if he is away on a trip for a week? What if he has medical issues and can’t perform? What if he starts cheating and stops sleeping with her? What if he’s just no longer in the mood? What if he’s not in the mood until she’s asleep or at work? What if she’s pregnant and having issues or just not able to have sex? What if she’s having medical issues? Curious what the ex wife would have to say about what caused the dead bedroom.

Whole heartedly agree. I have a pit lab mix and everyone always says “he’s the best dog” or “I want a dog like him” which yes he is great, but that is because we spent 3+ years of consistently training him from 9 weeks old. Food aggression training, potty training, and boundary training should be the bare minimum to every pup/ dog owner. A lot of people get puppies and don’t want to commit to training them, which will end up exactly like OP’s boyfriends husky. IMO it’s neglectful to not train a dog period, it’s not only dangerous for the owners and visitors but also the dogs themselves. Seeing dogs getting put down daily because of their bad owners is so frustrating because I genuinely LOVE dogs. A lot of people like the thought of dogs, but not training your dog is not loving it.

Dog trainer here: The husky is a literal husky. They aren't easy dogs. The dogs are not to blame, though. The bf simply didn't train the dog and probably got her because "husky is cool." Many people don't get dogs depending on their lifestyle or training skill. They get them because they are "cool" looking breeds. I can train their 9 year old Husky. ANY dog is trainable at ANY age. My parents had an aggressive shepherd, and I came and started training her when she was 9. She was incredible, just with a few sessions. The husky person is on spot-on. Huskies love to run. They also typically pull without proper leash training because they are pullers! That's literally what they are bred for! That's why people shouldn't be getting dogs they can't handle. 🤦‍♀️

Story 3: I genuinely hope it's not actually legal to put that kind of clause in a prenup. That's incredibly disturbing. I also have no idea how such a clause would be enforced. With cheating ones you have to have proof they cheated. It's an utterly ludicrous clause that doesn't take a lot of things into consideration, what if she had a UTI, was sick for a week with bad flu, had a bad stomach for a week, broke her leg, or had surgery? There's numerous reasons someone might not physically be able to be intimate in that way, which is not even taking the very valid option of just not feeling like it. I need more contrext as to why the man's first marriage ended in a dead bedroom. In my experience as a woman if I don't feel valued during sex, as in it feels less intimate and more like a chore and your partner doesn't make you feel pretty or if they don't take care of their hygiene or they aren't being productive and living off of you, I don't want to have sex with you . Like there are so many reasons that lead to a dead bedroom and this man is giving me the vibe that he sees sex as a right, not an intimate activity to do with your enthusiastically consenting partner. Sex has been so watered down these days... also constantly whining about not getting sex does not get you sex. Stop shaming your partner for not wanting to be intimate

Also the last story I want to add my own experience, I have a 1 year old. We went on pitocin, had to restart it 3 times because it made my babys heart rate drop... scared me so much, almost went into an emergency c-section because he was reacting so badly to it... sure it works great for some people but it also makes labor pains worse and can cause issues with the baby for some, its not just a "sure she will do that" kind of thing, its definitely something to speak with the doctor about and have her decide what SHE is comfortable and feels safe with.

The dog is never the AH, its the owners who failed their pets. They are like children and if a child misbehaves its the parents fault. Her actions show that he is a disaster owner, huskies are a lot of work and energetic and he didnt do his work. If his dog is that crazy, dog hotels/kennelsmay not allow the dog to stay cause it can harm or scary the other pups

Huskies are CRAZY HIGH MAINTENANCE and that dog sounds like she's got serious anxiety and abandonment issues, as well as fear agression, all of which stem from poor training and bad ownership. that dude doesn't deserve to have her, but also OP doesn't deserve to be stuck dealing with the dog's bad behavior because the Boyfriend can't be bothered to be a better dog owner.

Hot take, but regarding the husky story I have some points to make. I've had a husky for 11 years and worked professionally with dogs for 10. Huskies are a naturally stubborn breed and are extremely intelligent. While a lot of other breeds are like having a toddler, having a husky can be like having a teen. Huskies were bred to be independent, so independent they prefer to be. My dog is trained and not anywhere near as bad as the OP's dog, but if she decided to, she'd try to do things her way. Even through all the years of training (into the present) she likes to do things her way sometimes and that is just that. Trust me, there have been plenty of times I've wanted to rip my hair out with her. One time she just decided to hop a fence while we were playing and run down a busy road. She thought it was fun. Just wanted to throw that out there. There are SEVERAL sources that talk about huskies and how particular and difficult to train they can be. If you convince them it's their idea, they'd be more inclined to accept the training. Managing how distracted they get is another challenge all together. Coming in to defend all the husky owners out there lol!

Story 4, hot take: assuming that the phone is going to be bought and offering to buy the phone, are two different things. If my phone got fucked up in the process of saving the life of my niece or nephew, it is what it is. Thankfully they’re alive and well. I wouldn’t sit there and assume my phone is going to be paid for just because I did this act. Now if that was my child, I would be incredibly thankful and offer to buy the phone but my brothers would never sit there and assume that I’m gonna pay for it nor would they literally tell me “I’ll send you the bill”.. assuming that someone’s gonna pay for something and telling them I’ll send you the bill is actually crazy. That kid sounded entitled AF. Also Hannah, saying a phone doesn’t cost $30,000 shows your privilege, $1000 is a lot for someone that is trying their best to make it by with whatever they get paid.

I agree with you 100%. $1000 is a lot. Especially in todays economy. To add: Secondary drowning is a thing too! Lung infections! What happens if that dad now needs to take his kid to emergency for aftershock effects? That's more $$$ than a phone. Would this OP still expect a new phone? And I said this in another thread, they're blaming the dad 100% for an accident that they themselves could have also prevented. All it says to me is that none of the other (minimum) 3 other adults were watching this child. Side note to anyone reading, if your kid almost drowns, even if they seem fine. TAKE. THEM. TO. A. DOCTOR! As stated above. Secondary drowning and lung infections can he equally fatal to drowning itself.

Pitocin almost killed my baby when I was induced. It caused such painful, forceful contractions that his heart rate quickly dropped and I couldn’t breath/started to pass out. I was rushed to the OR for an emergency c-section but thank god the medication was reversed fast enough, we were both stabilized, and I was able to deliver the way I had planned/wanted to. Not to mention a c-section is a much harder recovery with a higher risk of something going wrong and infection. Last guy has no idea what he’s talking about and his opinions are actually dangerous.

for story 7: Pitocin is a manufactured form of oxytocin, the hormone that causes labor. While it can be a very useful tool to augment labor that is not progressing or even inducing labor, there are definite risks that come along with its benefits! When used after baby is born, it's great for limiting postpartum hemorrhage and helping the uterus contract down.
@stephenieburgess6978
@stephenieburgess6978 9 ай бұрын
I was put on it for both my labors. My first was because not only was it not progressing properly (active labor 36 hrs, 3 week pre active labor baby ✌🏻), but due to positioning of baby and how the epidural was settling he was going into distress and I hemorrhaged afterwards. With my second I was given it to induce labor because of how traumatic the first was, to speed it along and hopefully lower the risk of complications. I still hemorrhaged, but my baby girl was fine (no distress or anything), and they were able to monitor and control my contractions better with it. I was safer with it than without. With this said, some people cannot have it. They can have extremely bad reactions to it and it can be almost as dangerous if not more than going without. It's up to the MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS to know how to best proceed. Random husbands who troll webMD and wikiHow do not make those decisions. If it's safe to go without it, that's the better option. My body didn't produce it right, or fast enough. So it was safer for me and babies to get a boost. But it's her body, her choice. Or if you're just fed up and angry kick him in the junk with heels then throw him an ice pack and tell him that he can maybe talk to you again when he can pee straight again. It will almost maybe kinda be a little like what you're going to be going through.

So let’s say someone locked you up 23 hours a day with nothing you needed to emotionally and physically thrive. Then you started tearing down doors after 9 years, and screaming that you wanted out, only to still be jailed, would you consider yourself a terrorist? Story 2: I’m an almost 24 year old woman with a 5 year old lab husky mix. I rescued her going into my sophomore year of college and she was free and absolutely gorgeous. I wanted a dog HOWEVER I was aware that I would have to be in class 8 hours a day and being a college girl of course i did go out every weekend/some week days. Because I knew this I made sure that every day she went to doggy daycare from 9 am until 5 pm. At 5 pm she would still have soooo much energy, so we would go on a 3-5 mile walk every night. A lot of what the girl in story 2 is saying is just describing normal husky behavior, but a lot of it can be improved if you put the effort in or you accommodate the dog and figure out what works for you both so that the dog can have a happy fulfilling life. My girl also has zero street awareness, would run through traffic as if it’s a game, has a small head and will slip her collar so we use a harness. She’s extremely friendly, would never attack anything, but she’s dumb and thinks every dog wants to be her friend so regardless of if I thought she was behaved enough to be off leash ever (I do not) I don’t trust other dogs enough to do that anyway! I also use rover all the time if I’m going out of town for a couple days or if my mom can’t watch her. If I want to travel with my dog, we drive because she isn’t quiet enough to be on a plane nor is she a service animal. All this to say; I didn’t think I was the 100% best owner for her, but after hearing how neglectful and careless that owner is, I know I am a good dog owner.

I don’t think not walking your dog everyday equals a bad owner, by any means. I walk my dog, but understand there are dogs with anxiety, reactivity, etc who will do better getting their energy out in a yard or with mental puzzle toys. That was a pretty harsh judgement to cast. Just like not every kid is the same, neither is every dog.
@cuddlecows
@cuddlecows 9 ай бұрын
I agree. That was harsh. I work with dogs and would never pass the judgment onto clients. Some dogs have issues that make daily walking rough even on them. Also, as a dog professional, dogs get the most stimulation and play with other dogs.. which can also be difficult depending on the dog. But socializing dogs with dogs is the best way to tire them out. Walking for a high-energy working dog does nothing, in all honesty. That dog needs more stimulus, and a walk won't cut it. To be honest, I find it more concerning when people think walking high-energy working breeds does anything for their stimulus. I hear people say "well I walk them twice a day yet they are still wild" yeah... you have a working dog, my guy, give them a job!

Based on this guys actions, I’m concerned for what happened in his last marriage. People who walk their pets off leash are so irresponsible and it drives me insane. I live on Vancouver Island. We have bears, cougars, seals, otters, others dogs. Anything could go wrong. A few years ago someone’s little Frenchie was off leash at the beach and was mauled to death by another dog (I can’t remember if the other dog was). My best friends dog genuinely thinks she’s a cat and she’s TERRIFIED of other dogs. She’ll have a full on panic attack despite the fact that your dog is friendly.

My family will do this ONLY in the country where no other houses or pets are around. But we moved recently to a neighborhood and the amount of people who do this in the neighborhood or just don’t care that their dog keeps getting out is about to drive me INSANE! our neighbor lost her dog for a couple days because it broke through the fence. We warned them a couple times the fence was damaged and it was only a matter of time…

Story 3: If they do get to the point of divorce and bogus stipulations like that held up, all he'd have to do is refuse to have sex and he could say "She didn't have sex with me this week!" to keep all the money. Or say they had a busy week and it's saturday night and they still need to have sex one more time, it would be such an ick if my HUSBAND said "Babe, remember you have to have sex with me tonight or I will take all your money from you!"

59:54 FUN FACT! As an Arab, mosssst Arabs will give you an item you say you like (depending on the price of it) that they have. For example, if you said ‘hey I like your necklace’ you willlllll be gifted the necklace by force and the person will buy the same necklace back if they really liked it 😂 only because they fear of the evil eye heavily!! Better you have it than I randomly get an allergic reaction to the metal or it breaks 😅

It’s funny I was walking my Sheltie/ Husky Mix (who literally just turned 16 the other day) as I started to listen to this and I have to agree with Morgan about the training aspect. Clearly the dog didn’t get the proper training. I’m talking as simple as taking them to PetSmart! It’s so easy and it really helps you learn how to work with your dog and get them to listen and behave. But oh boy husky breeds. When I first got my dog I looked into her breeds and they were spot on! Anytime she got the chance to run she did! Until she got older same with her and chewing on cords! That was a whole thing. The point is those breeds are work and I don’t think the guy is doing a very good job with his pup.

I’m a little shocked by the comments in this video. The brother should 100% buy her a phone. Yes I understand any decent human being would jump in to save the kid. But any decent human being would pay to fix what was broken saving their child’s life. In my opinion, the brother is extremely selfish to not buy back an item that was lost due to his own negligence. Especially when it involves his kid, he should be kissing the ground she walks on and be buying her new phone as a thank you saving his kids life.

As a very ace person I don’t love sex that much - I want sex maybe once a month at most. The idea of being in a contract were I would have to have sex multiple times a week really sounded awful. Would not be able to be with someone who felt the need to have sex that much. (Also contractual sex with someone you’re going to get married to is just kind of gross. You should have sex because you absolutely want to not because you feel obligated to feels like dubious consent at best.)

My dogs HATE going on walks. I tried for months with both of them 😂😅 one hated being on the leash and it's not safe to be off leash where I live bc of moose/bears. The other is blind and gets far too stimulated. We have a big fenced in yard though!
