damn, i was also excited when this game came out but it's a shame ubisoft ruined it with their broken online service, i was forced to buy the game twice and i still can't play it without issues

@@jorda229 I still play a custom game in Heroes VI every now and then. Honestly I don't get why so many hated it...judging by its final form, I'd say it's the greatest in the series. Combining all the best soundtracks from 2 3 4 and 5, stunning graphics, beautifully designed creatures, maps and towns, simplified game mechanics--it was supposed to bring new players into the franchise AND please the fans of previous games, yet it seems both had fallen short. What was the game like when it first launched, and how terrible it must be for such a masterpiece to be perceived so badly?

actually it comes from the Free Haven town song but hey it doesn't matter, all the tracks from MM6 were excellent

This is sooo beautiful! It really fits into a snowy landscape! Haven't played the beta, but this piece makes me think about snowflakes slowly falling to the ground in a beautiful snowy white mountainous landscape. At least until around 1:34. But I shouldn't say anything 'till I've played the game! ^^

In M&M6, the Free Haven theme struck me as kind of... how do I put it? Too thin due the lack of a better way to put it. But this! It's amazing. It conjures images of cold, wind swept plains, solitude and desolation. I always imagined what Free Haven would be like in the winter because of this theme. Now I know...

@ersia87I picture this scenario where a boy/girl wander from house to house so lonley and cold on christmas eve, looking in trough a lit upp window where a family is cheering eating dinner. Tears and silent wishes that you had a family too to be with this day occupies your mind. But its all gone, and you quitely wander away with tears dreaming of a life with a family, where mother and father gives you presents and put you to bed saying everything is going to be alright...

They very well can. But their own content isn't necessarily in the same spirit, so to say. I don't hate hom&m VI, I think it's a decent game, btw. But it lacks the charm for me. Especially with the 3D graphics.
