Brutus Monroe shared a tip. When you are blending, Tap your blending brush on glass or a silicon mat or even a piece of plastic. There is less wasted ink then when you tap off on paper.😊. Just thought I would share.

My friends expect me to spend a long time making each card, so this is right up my alley. Love the gradient colors on the letters. Agree with comment about dry embossing instead of actually cutting out the letters on base card, but I wouldn't probably have thought of it beforehand. Great card! TFS

Cathy, I really like the style of this card. The top layer of the 3 shades of green turned out smashingly beautiful. I was so ready to hear Christmas music when you said you were going to play music!! Oh Christmas Tree would have been terrific !! 😉💚❤

I've found that if you don't want to push out all the letters and glue them individually you can put the glue on the 1st layer then position next layer with negative space still around it and poke the letters right onto the glue. Saves quite a bit of time.

I love how tickled you were on how it turned out. It is a beautiful card! I think craft was a great call. I would have liked to have seen it on black as well just to see it . I would have also liked to have seen some gems on it before you,just place them, not glue them, to see how it looked. Thanks for sharing.

The kraft base is great! JM might have put adhesive backing on before diecutting, put the press & seal on top, positioned it all over the first layer and poked the letters down and out onto the layer below … if that makes sense…

Beautiful card! Probably more patience required than I have most day-mainly because I’m incredibly slow when it comes to card making. So it was funny when you mentioned at the end that it didn’t need more shine. I concur. What was funny to me is the monochrome gradient at first look at the thumbnail for the video looked to me like you used a green metallic foil for the top layer of letters, but it was just a visual fluke and my bad eyes playing games with me. Love those cool greens-I guess I tend to refer to those as gray-greens, whether or not that’s true-just my take. Another beautiful card Cathy!

Love the card. The craft cardstock was the perfect choice. In my experience, Press-n-seal works with the heat of your hands. May be why the bone folder did not work for you. Have a great day!

Elegant! The Kraft really elevated the design another level! This is a beautiful "Nordstrom" Christmas card. I think you could totally mass produce this by changing a few things, cut the dimension 1x from fun foam so you don't have to cut as many layers and do the ink blending on longer strip of paper so you can cut top layers for multiple cards. Since the scrap is different shades of those gorgeous greens, I'd keep it. We all know Spellbinders has so many tiny leaf dies 😆 and that scrap is perfect for those. Heck if I'm feeling up to it, I may go ahead and die cut a bunch of little leaves for future projects instead of storing the scraps.

Super cute! Craft was an excellent call! Maybe instead of die cutting the base letters, just use your embossing mat with the die to get the impression of them to save the hassle of fighting with the little pieces.

I’m going to try my next eclipse card embossing that bottom layer with a die cut to easily line up the top layers without having to glue or tape that bottom layer down. May save time! Beautiful card! Definitely Nordstrom classy 😊
