The answer is no. Okame does too much damage, and beartooth struggles at reaching okame (unless if you don't spawn meatsheilds .at that point how are you going to stall Okame?) also your likely going to beat all merciless advents before getting your first ultra form

​@@user-XxneveralonexXYou could use beartooth for 12-3 stage in catclaw dojo in the phase when Okame is mostly alone to deal some great hits against it. Beartooth wouldn't live for very long but those hits could change the course of the whole battle

tl;dr he's already good enough before UF, and dark catseyes are too rare to prioritize him above top picks. Only worth if you have a lot to spare.

​@@pino1260 Ultra talents still require you to get NP to unlock them, while ultra forms just require evolution materials which is easier to get. Most people consider gigapult to be the best UF
