The early 90s were the golden age for Beat'em up games. Capcom's The Punisher, Alien vs Predators, Dungeon & Dragons: Tower of Doom, Knight of the Round and Cadillac & Dinosaurs were all amazing arcade games. Only Knights of the Round got ported to SNES. You guys NEED to do an episode with The Punisher. It was the most refined 2D beat'em up before the genre died.

For those wondering, the Power Rangers/TMNT crossover episode was Season 6 Episode 4: "Shell Shocked" Though they made a cameo at the end of Episode 3. They kept the same suits, but for whatever reason they didn't want to record the Canadian voice actors so they replaced all the voice actors with some from LA.

pkleaf yep. Power Rangers in Space meets Ninja Turtles the next mutation. She was only on that TMNT tv series which only lasted 1 season. And they never brought her back for any other incarnation. Ninja Turtles the Next Mutation is heavily regarded as the worst TMNT incarnation BY FAR. I don’t miss her at all.

Watching it as a kid, I loved it. Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles crossing over!!! In hindsight I only wish it was the MMPR and the TMNT from the live action movies. Power Rangers in Space were pretty cool but Next Mutation Turtles, that was an awful show.

Do you guys remember the TMNT/Power Rangers teem up episode of Power Rangers in Space?

It came full circle. Back in the 70's there was an Anime Super Sentai show called _Choujin Sentai Baratack_, then in the 80's Haim Saban brought the rights of _Dynaman_ for the _USA Network_'s Night Flight show and dubbed over the Japanese footage, then years laters he produced Power Rangers, then around the end of the MMPR era there was a 4 episode Anime OVA about TMNT called _Mutant Turtles: Superman Legend_ and finally Haim Saban made the TMNT The Next Mutation he finally made them join the Power Rangers in a special eppisode of Power Rangers in Space. What's a real let down however, is that those weren't the real turtles and those weren't the MMPR but at least we got something awesome.

Oh, guys... I did a research on this a while back. The reason why Power Rangers and Voltron look so simulator is because, back then japanese companies were grabbing ideas off each other. They didn't mind either. During that time, companies and shows were in it's infant stages. They were still trying to figure out what to do with the shows they had and what the viewers wanted at that time. Power Rangers were originally kind of like a 5 team Kamen Rider show. They changed it by the second season of Super Sentai I think. THat's when they added the giant robots. Then the show took off after that.

I still have this! Love it, love how you get different moves when you morph, I.E: pushing away and attack when you land a jumpkick does a backflip kinda animation. I wish I owned the MMPR movie game, I played that on SNES and that was an intense game, manual morphing was an awesome addition.

I'm 100 % positive it is multiplayer, in that you unlock 2 player beat'em up Zord duel mode, where you get to play as either Megazord, silver or golden Cyclopsis. It's not Streetfighter 2 but fun (and I, for one, remember it as awesome). Surprisingly good game!

in answer to james's question about skeletor. All those muscles are his real body, his face was melted off with acid however and he made a pact with a dark god in order to become more powerful, so his head is now just a floating skull on top of a really buff body.
