The pressing was poor and we did not deal with haaland. The line was all over the place. We press high but madueke is still deep and the cb step up when the line is not organised. As a cb you need to recognise that and drop off. The line was terrible, press was disjointed and that cost us the first goal because of the press and the line. The second was Robert and the third the centre halves didn’t track their men and got bullied. It was not a 50/50 in the second half as maresca is trying to make out. The second half was lacklustre and poor.

Since I started supporting the Blues since 1951/52 and seen 4 relegations I have never seen such a shambles this club. Maresca states the obvious so why can;' he react to the obvious. He had no CV to take on such a job and the Foxes fans warned us. His handling of Trevor Chabaloh by putting him in the bomb squad then put him out on loan then recalling him and within a few days they hiked Trevor's transfer value! What must Trevor think and others who may be apporoached to join the club. He is no tactician and his one dimensial strategy of slow Crab possession football with inverted backs is dysfunctional, as often been seen when the opposition counters swiftly the traditional left and right back positions are gaping holes. But even worse are the two Sports Directors (stewart and Winstanley) who are obseesed with youth and potential which is quickly overcome by successive even better potential youngsters. Will they ever address the voids we have had for a decade, ie no strong spine consisting of a safe and reliable GK, a dominant CB (like JT) and a proven experienced No 9. This trio are the weakest links, hapless and hopeless.
