Der TeaPot, A while ago you had vid with a discussion about getting more leaders in the community. Could you make "tutorial" for commanders? Do's and Don't's. Something new players can pick up from and veteran players can both improve from and refer to? I honestly think that could be a great service to the community. Of course I hope you ask help from all corners of Hardstuck I believe it's called? We really need something that is clear and structured. Kind regards, Gamers

GW2, in addition to being the only rpg where Necromancers do their job, raise the dead (players), GW2 has a Raid where you actually go in an steal as much stuff as you can: Palawadan.

Appreciate your journey. I'm new enough that watching you participate in the variety of events is both entertaining and informative. Thanks.

37:10 To expand on the importance of even the most rudimentary sorting of subgroups, understanding how the game prioritizes boon applications should really drive home the point for anyone that's still iffy on this subject. Taken straight from the wiki the priority is Your Party/Subgroup>Squad>Allied Players(not in squad)>Your pets/minions/illusions>Allied players' pets/minions/illusions>All other allies(ie. NPCs), with an additional priority of proximity if you're over target cap within one of the above listed priorities. This means that in a 20 man squad that's in a single subgroup, with 4 quickness providers, if they're all stacked up nice and tight close to the boss, well now suddenly they'll all be giving each other quickness and massively over capping while providing very little to the others in the squad. The simple act of dividing potential boon providers up into subgroups allows you to MASSIVELY reduce the amount of boon over capping that happens and really help spread it out between everyone in the squad.

it is absolutely hilarious seeing Teapot be so unfamiliar with how pugs do KO on nornal mode xD a member of my guild only does CMs and was totally lost on normal mode

Always funny to watch people that never pug try to pug content. Noone, and i mean NOONE, knows the mechanics in Kaineng Overlook. I have killed it probably 100 times on normal mode now, I didnt know you had to go up the zip line to CC the sniper, I didnt know you had to keep them similar hp, I didnt know the trio focused sometimes on who is closest, I just thought it was random, and I didnt know that whoever got hit twice by Li's line aoe actually exploded as opposed to just getting downed. People are focusing down the sniper because the sniper sometimes just apparently kills people, so they want to kill it faster. That's why absolutely everyone in pugs does it. GW2 does an absolutely abhorrent job at conveying mechanics. You just do the content over and over never knowing; some things just happen for no reason.
@christopherfittro19002 жыл бұрын
Yep. For a lot of us, this is what we have access to. And honestly, you can cheese so many mechanics on normal mode that it doesn't matter as much
@FinalShieldnobi2 жыл бұрын
Some sort of NPC or hell, maybe the Commander, should yell out what the mechanics are whenever you get to that section. It'd help people understand what to do alot more.
@Obli2862 жыл бұрын
Yeah because you’ve only done it on normal mode. You use to know and learn the mechanics of EOD strikes once you do them in cm because they’re do or die mechanics in this mode so people don’t have the choice and will stop be lazy to figure how it work
@omegasrevenge2 жыл бұрын
@@Obli286 Unfortunately, 99.9999% of all people doing Kaineng Overlook have never so much as touched strike cms. Your entire point is void.

Well, many modern mmos dont explain mechanics, its on players to figure it out by trial and error, its part of fun.

The video is acting very strange for me. It's refusing to load at first, and then kept dropping in quality, then when I set it at a higher quality it's struggling a lot to play. I'm not sure if it's on my end or not but I usually have no trouble playing any KZbin video.

@@Archeael Yeah I've tried several times over the past few hours to watch it and I just can't get it to play. It will play for a few seconds then just sit there struggling to load. I've watched a ton of youtube videos on the highest settings and never have an issue playing them so I'm pretty sure there's something strange with this video.
