Ive had the constant ringing in my left ear ( been to all kinds of specialist) after I was diagnosed with. ( Cluster migraines) I am on several meds now. I have the vertigo, left side of my face goes numb, stabbing pain in left eye, nose runs, eye twitches. i feel extremely discombobulated, extremely nauseous could suddenly happen while sleeping. Feel frustrated! I'm going to my neurologist this week & im going to show him this video as he gives me botox injections for migraines every 12 weeks. I just want peace & no headache. Everyday it feel like its always there but then it suddenly fires up to a 10. Glad i found this video!

I had a migraine with visual aura nearly three weeks ago, the aura didn't fully resolve, leaving my vision not fully restored. I could only see half of a face, the other half of the face looking like the eye ball was deep vivid colour and large, slowly over the weeks it's almost dissapeared, leaving a tiny fragment of the aura. If I covered up one eye at a time, it still looks the same, so it's not an eye problem it's definitely in my head. I recognise a ton of those symptoms, ear, trigeminal pain, along with most of the usual classic symptoms, also I have suffrered meniers attacks. I have learned a lot from this video, thank you. I hope this tiny aura fragment eventually dissapeares.

You are amazing! I’m in the UK and the doctors are shockingly blinkered. I need you as my doctor! I’ve had migraines and IBS symptoms for years. Then I went suddenly deaf with tinnitus and dizziness and then ear pick pain and fullness and it all links to GI symptoms. Doctor here have no clue. Luckily I’ve started topamax.

I've had migraine symptoms in the ear...had no idea it was migraine, b/c I'd had migraines for a 9 year period, the painful headache, and then it went away..what followed were actually migraine symptoms but were attributed to other ailments..in 2020 the ear symptoms came into play...took 3 years to find out I have vestibular migraine and have likely had it since childhood based on my history. AND Dr. Teixido played a major role in ME finally getting the right diagnosis. If it were not for him and me using the knowledge I gained from him and advocating for myself, it's likely I'd have never gotten the right diagnosis. He's my hero.

I’ve seen over 15,000 head pain patients. Vestibular symptoms are not uncommon. Otalgia is rarely a major symptom of migraine - multiple attacks of pulsatile one sided head pain that is severe enough to inhibit normal functioning and aggravated by activity, associated with nausea and light/sound sensitivity.

Wow glad to hear about this. I had my migraines start after my daughter was born and for six months I took birth control pills, which I think started the migraines. I am 77, and my migraines stopped for several years but now they are back. I get what I call zingers, sharp pains in my temples usually on one side. Now I have been getting very dizzy, where I feel like I will pass out. II didn't have that in previous years. cannot eat chocolate, some sharp cheeses, & some wines. The migraines I have now are not as bad as I had years ago, they really debilitated me for days.

I have been going to a chiropractor for my vestibular migraines who works with concussion patients, and he diagnosed me with mènières disease because of my hearing loss could and diagnosed with labyrinthist as well. @@RG....... In my case, I quit coffee altogether, and also anything with caffeine, even if it's just a little caffeine like sodas, black and white tea or whatever. I started with a really restrictive diet, eating healthy, a lot of veggies, I lost a lot of weight and started a light exercises routine. I am 57 y.o. In the end, in my case, coffee was the main factor causing the auras, even after a life drinking a lot of coffee that had never been bad for me, but now is. It doesn't mean that I have never had auras again, but it went from once every other day to once in a blue moon. I really hope this helps you. I read a book that gave the idea of quitting coffee but it's written in Portuguese (Só tem enxaqueca quem quer - author Alexandre Feldman)

This was so informative. Thank you. I have had migraines for over 20 years, but only recently started having intense pain in my ears. It was scary because I wasn't sure what was the cause. Was it migraines, an ear infection, damage to my eardrum? The two DRs I went to, ruled out infection and damage. So, by default, the cause was guessed, as my migraines. Anyway, I really appreciate this confirmation. I do know that my trigger for this type of migraine is rapid changes in barometer pressure, which got really bad when we moved to a mountain area with lots of weather changes. And my regular migraine pain medication does nothing for the ear pain.

I have hyperacusis and have been dealing with this for 15 years. The symptoms you describe about pain in the ear and going down through the teeth and side/back of neck are exactly what I experience when I have a loud noise event. I’ve been researching hyperacusis for many years and the only thing that’s been suggested is sound therapy. I’m wondering if there is a correlation with my ear pain, which you describe as an ear migraine, and my symptoms. I also appreciate your advice on foods that could trigger migraines. It couldn’t hurt for me to try a nutrition approach to my hyperacusis. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
