I'm on propanaol 30mg 2-3 day for migraines prevention. Zolotriptan 2.5 mg for actual start of migraine it takes 30mins to kick in. I'm also on Prochlorperazine 5mg for my dizziness. You do need to inform your doctor of any changes Covid would change your migraines I hope you get sorted soon 😊❤️

I deal with migraine everyday do to spine fluid putting on my brain (hydrocephalus). I have learned that lavender oil behind the ears can help. I also take gabapentin for pain that medicine definitely helps with pain. I would say also take naps, they definitely help. Journal when you get a migraine so when your doctor say how often you get it. You can tell the doctor. Sending my prayers your way.

Janiece I have had 3 brain surgeries, so I understand vestibular ,balance issues, and I have migraines, I get it.I understand invisible illnesses as well. Even though I currently and will use a cane or a walker going forward, for years, since birth, I have had a disability. No one could tell because the scars are hidden beneath my clothes. I was bullied as a child so I understand that too. If I ever met you in person I could look at you and say I understand some of what you are going through. Chronic pain warrior. It's just my life, my motto is and has been for awhile, I am upright and moving forward. My neurosurgeon prescribed Topimate for me I don't usually recommend medication to anyone else but ask your doctor if it might help you I don't know if it will or not but ask. I hope that you feel better soon and find a solution to your pain problems.

I know this sounds crazy but Pepcid and Zofran works for mine. I get ocular migraines. I just chew a couple of Pepcid’s and pop a Zofran turn the lights out with a cold rag and it slowly eases off. I don’t know what it is about that cocktail and it may not work for you, but I just wanted to throw that at you. Feel better soon! praying for you.❤

All the rescue medications failed on me… they had more side effects than just sticking with the migraine… and then the injections I was prescribed made my hair fall out…. I have heard some people say increasing electrolytes and hydration is a major factor. I have pretty much given up on finding migraine relief… for me, personally sleep, salt and caffeine surprisingly have been the most proven things to aid my migraines. But I my system is very atypical.

I take 2000mg zero-filler acetaminophen and 800mg ibuprofen (both together) however many times it takes to get rid of the headache, plus the fact that I figured out what's actually causing mine in the first place (for me, it was a chronically subluxed shoulder that rebelled every time there was pressure on it and also caused extreme strain through my back, shoulder, and neck) and remedying that cause. I will note that I can count on 1 hand the number of times the headache part of the migraine (the most disabling part for me) has lasted into the next day - for me, a good night's sleep gets rid of the headache 99.9% of the time. Caffeine in any form only makes things worse for me, so that's not one of my options.

That is a very high dose of Tylenol! Sleep is always good but with a clingy 2 year old I doubt I'll be able to sleep much lolc

I used to get the aura migraines a few times a year. I would lose vision, one side of my face went numb, very painful and scary and pain lasted all day. Ice packs, dark room, quietness,😊 caffeine helped but the only thing that cured it was cutting out sugar and carbs.
