In most of the migrant interviews I've seen they usually claim they came for a better life ie. financial reasons, not actually asylum. Many are now claiming the U.S. is not what they expected. I have yet to hear a interviewer ask one of them, What did you expect would happen when you illegally entered the U.S. without money, a support system or a legal source of income?

For those that dont know. The US is like that rich kid you see in school, you envy them want what they have. Word gets out that the dad wants some help doing something and you're promised amazing pay, and you get to stay in the pool house for free. So the entire school goes all at once because they have no limits. Now not only do they not have work for you, but you have to sleep in the yard in a tent. That is the US right now with immigration.

Being poor is not enough of a reason to demand another country to let you in and take care of you for the rest of your life. Almost every country has poor. Can you imagine if our poor started banging on the doors of other countries, with the claim they are poor, have no/little opportunity, feel unsafe due to gangs, crime, prison or horrible government...
