Hey so I was able to transfer over my save file from xbox gamepass to steam, however I was having a lot of issues transferring my friends save file who was also playing oriignally on game pass, but is now trying to play through steam. So we both essentially started on gamepass and are now both trying to switch to steam, we only played a co-op server and plan to still continue to do so. I have all of my information as the host properly transferred over, however I cannot get his information for his account working. Please help! a video like this would be amazing! I was trying to follow several guides and getting stuck quite badly. THANKS!

I did this, but some how the save I got from the game pass version is VERY old and not current. I have also read somewhere that there was an update that "broke" multiplayer saves. did the save location move or change? Would that be why I cant get a current save copied/converted?

not sure how but the old save (im a level 16) is still what is being converted/copied when in the world I am level 36. all player details, pal captures and even the world itself is an old save. I cant figure out where the new saves are located.

It worked but I'm back several levels than I was. Any fix? All the backup files on steam are the lower level too. I've tried uninstall I've tried doing these steps several times and I keep going back to level 10, I was at 21.

​@@glomas5234If you just want to edit the save via a steam editor simply find the the file with the long name of random digits in the wgs folder, rename it to level.sav edit the file using a save editor and simply rename it back to the original name. Backup your save file before doing so though.

Uhmmm, everything I find online is migrating from GamePass to Steam, but I do not find anywhere how to share save files between users. What I mean is: Me and my friend we play on Gamepass local server, he hosts the server and I'm curious if he can give me his save (when he logs out) and I can continue playing on that save and so on.
