I am not sure about removing the mobile option in Ignition 8. I just got started learning ignition with my team. The main draw was that we thought we could design an HMI screen and immediately access it via a web page only to discover that designs in VIsion would have to be re-done in perspective for viewing on the web. This would then require us to start learning how perspective works making the learning curve much steeper than simply generating a link and sending to your colleague
