Spacing between railing and wall is to give air circulation which somewhat prevents it from corrosion, also majority of strength in railing comes from the hole pass joints

Thanks for the information sir, but can you tell me how this gap will help in preventing corrosion. As per my limited knowledge, corrosion happens when iron comes in long contact with air(oxygen) and water. This gap will only increase exposure to oxygen and water over the time.

​@@VikasGahlaut Galvanic corrosion does not require water but two different metals at different energy levels which is the main cause of embedded posts corrosion as cement block acts as electrolyte when it is wet. I am also not pro at this but just some info that I got from a contractor. Also the cheap way is to cement it properly with low permeable cement. Also if it is away from surface it is easy to paint which metal railings require quite often.

@@avdhesh1402 Sir construction quality tower to tower different hai, kahi contractors ne acha kam kiya hai aur kahi bahut bekar. In general, fit and finish bahut poor hai, strength ok ok hai, maintenance kuch khash nahi hai. Only good thing is builder is delivering. You can watch many videos on my channel, us se aapko acha and bura sabka idea lag jayega... aur channel suscribe nahi kiya to karle kyu ki mai frequent updates about this and other projects dalta rehta hu..
