Thank You so much... Longtime ago I played that, on my Hauser which is gone, broken, lost forever :-( . My ex-wife broke it. Because I had refused to play my piece of music I had made for her. Me unable to play "on command". Only when from inside me. Most people can not imagine the difficulty to play that music - it sounds "so light, so easy". But, most important of all (for me) of your playing is the feeling which you pass to me. Thank you very much ! Somehow I feel that you suffer really hard, inside, in your soal (?). Playing "classical" guitar is a profound mean to express deep feelings for which there are no words. The vibrations in one's chest, one's heart. Deep down inside. My wish to you : Keep on. Live. Live. Live... Be Be who you are. Sincerey Be well. Gerhard

So delicate playing! Like a lullaby... As my former teacher used to say (A. Pierri), "ne réveille pas l'enfant"!

Came here for an example of artificial harmonics (read in the Christopher Parkening method). This was really pretty! Thanks!

Uros, this is gorgeous. Thank you so very much!

This is my interpretation of a Mompou piece which was partly inspired by this same traditional Catalan melody. It’s not technically perfect as yours, but I hope it’s at least half as heartfelt… kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYPdl5hpaM6We6c

Yes very nice flageolets...The sound seems like chime bells with the guitar. Very ingenious song to use this technique.
@tubbers208 жыл бұрын
So beautiful. Your harmonics sound like bells. :^)

Thank you :)
@tubbers208 жыл бұрын
Are you plucking the harmonics with 2 nails?
@UrosGuitar8 жыл бұрын
Well, plucking with one (a finger), the i finger is only touching the string lightly to produce the artificial harmonics.

Thank you. I'm going to learn this if it kills me, haha. :^)

How the heck do you pluck those harmonic sounding notes? Ive tried all kinds of different imaginable ways. Do you need a really good guitar to hit those harmonics? You play this almost as good as Segovia.
@UrosGuitar10 жыл бұрын
Thanks! No it should work ok any guitar, try placing your right hand index finger lightly and exactly on top of the frets, then move the ring finger further away and see what happens. Practice slowly as well :)
@STIZEN910 жыл бұрын
classicalguitar2 bro! I think I understand now. See I can do the harmonics like on the 5th 7th and 12th frets, but this is another level.. You have to stop the fret with the left hand AND use two fingers of your right hand, all at the same time, to produce this harmonic sound right? If so, thats crazy!. This is considered artificial harmonic? THANKS bro for the help and encouragement. I was mind boggled at how these notes were produced but after watching segovias video I noticed he was using two fingers on the right hand and stoping with the left hand.
@UrosGuitar10 жыл бұрын
STIZEN9 Yeah, exactly, it's a combination of left hand manoeuvring and using two fingers of the right hand at the same time, and you're right, it's called artificial harmonics.
@richardsrensen421910 жыл бұрын
so beautiful you play those flageolets grea t i wish my was so good do you have a secret technique?
@UrosGuitar10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind comment, Richard Sørensen. Unfortunately no secret technique here. Just practice the flageolet part very slowly, placing the left hand index finger lightly and EXACTLY on top of the frets, not the space in-between. Good idea is to learn the left hand part first, automatise it and then concentrate on the harmonics.
