Now a gifted emo artist, Miguel meets another gay student, Gabriel, and the two fall in love.
As the two young lovers bond, Gabriel tells Miguel a secret that will forever change his life: both of them are archangels who have been sent back to earth because hatred and violence have once again tipped the balance of good and evil on earth. Miguel is told he is Michael, the archangel who originally saved heaven and earth from the ravages of Lucifer.
