I wish they would have had English subtitles for when words were spoken. I missed so much up till Suleman mentioned the baby's name, U didn't know if it was a girl or a boy till then. I'm grateful to have had any subtitles, but wish they would be there when people are talking. 👍❣🙋‍♀️

In history, that would be Hümaşah sultan, the only daughter of sehzade Mehmed. Hümaşah and Ayse are sometimes confused but they were cousins. Hümaşah was who trained Safiye and gifted her to her cousin Murad. Suleyman married Hümaşah, Ayse and Selim's daughters to important statemen; instead he married Mustafa's and Bayezid's daughters to less important pashas.

Ayse Humasah Sultan (Daughter of Mihrimah Sultan) was indeed his favorite grandchild. Because Humasah would actually had the name Hanimsultan but she didn't and the rest did so she and Humasah daughter of (Sehzade Mehmed) Both we're his favorite Grandchildren. But Humasah of Mihrimah was his most favorite! 😊

*Just to clarify the comments that ask why is Mihrimah's daughter also a sultana* ? All Ottomam Princesses daughters were called Hanim Sultan. But in Suleyman's reign many things changed. All consorts were called hatun not sultana,and even daughters were called hatun. But later the daughters earned their title sultana but consorts still were called hatun until Suleymans reign. Hurrem wasnt called hatun but sultana and Mihrimahs daughter was called a sultana because in real life she was influential too and chose her mothers path. She was loved dearly by Suleyman so I guess thats why she earned the title sultana. She was the first daughter of Ottoman Princess to also have place in the court.

Like I get that an Ottoman Prince's children basically gets a royal title, but I don't know how a child of a Sultana, who is married to a ''slave'' (according to Hatice considering everyone in the Empire a slave to the dynasty), can also have a title such as Humasha Sultan. I think since her mother is a born sultana the daughter of the ruler she would be a sultana too since she's part of the Dinasty. I don't think the Ottomans had other royal titles for the members of the family, only sultanas and princes if I'm not wrong.

Mihrimahs daughter is considered as member of dynasty, she's the grand daughter of sultan Suleiman and daughter of royal sultana so she also holds the title of sultana. All female members of dynasty, either by blood (daughters, sisters, aunts, grand daughters/aunts etc) either the valide either the haseki, all are called sultanas. Mihrimahs son however can't be called prince but sultanzade, that's the title for sons by royal daughters/aunts. Same goes for hatices son etc.
