Prince Cihangir gets in bed to die!
Cihangir grieves for Mustafa and gets off his feed. Suleiman struggles desperately for his son. Hürrem gets worried about Cihangir. Bayezid's anger for his mother doesn't cool off. Rüstem gets worried for his life and his fears come true. One of Mustafa's friends goes back to the capital to take his revenge. He surrounds Rüstem's palace with the revolters. Bayezid saves Mihrimah and Rüstem. As Cihangir's clamours surround the whole camp, Suleiman puts out of his misery. Hürrem and Suleiman gets tested with the grief of losing a child. As Hürrem gets devastated byy Cihangir's death, Suleiman tries to heal his soul. A bitter fight starts between Hürrem's two living sons to be able to ascend the throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I think this is another reason why suleiman chose Bayezid as regent over Selim in that time. Because he already expected the uprising to take place after Mustafa’s death. He knew only a strong and brave sehzade like Bayezid could face this situation during his absence.

But sometimes being too brave and confident is also can risk their life. Without they realized, their extreme acts, can encourage them to beyond of sultan powers . That what happen to Mustafa and Bayezid.

Bayezid was Brave and courageous unlike Selim. But he has anger management issues which cause his own downfall. He wasn't smart and clever like Selim which is why he lose the Throne. And Bayezid needs to drop that behaviour towards his mother. If not for Hurrem, Suleiman would have executed him instead of Mustafa.

Bayezid would never have made a good sultan as he acts impulsively and emotionally. He doesn’t think things through at all. A good leader plans short term and long term, is proactive not reactive and most of all loyal. He suffered from pride and arrogance not good traits for a leader. He also was constantly disrespectful to his mother and father. His anger, arrogance, pride, disloyalty and greed for the throne got him executed.
