I could be wrong, but it feels like Nintendo is trying to distance themselves from the Wii U in whatever way possible. If there comes to be a console that comes after the _Nintendo Switch,_ I really wish it could have the same cozy vibe as the Wii U, with it's lovely music, just like the 3DS and Wii. The near complete silence on the Nintendo switch felt really empty, and I miss the older nintendo way. That way consisting of lovely warm music like this!

When started this video, tears fled my eyes! I grew up in the mid 2010s and spent hours on my Wii U playing Splatoon, MarioKart 8, and Super Mario Maker with my friends back in the day. I saw the demise of the console in 2017 and all my friends left Wii U by 2018, but I'm still going strong even though my gamepad broke in 2022. I am using my Pro-Controller while I wait for a new gamepad and have played MK8 & Minecraft since then.

I have so many good memories with the Wii U back in the day with Skylanders, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad, Mario 3D World and Splatoon and I really miss the times when Nintendo had Character. I mean the Switch is great and all but it will never relive the time I had with my Wii U and 3DS. Sadly my Wii U broke 2018 and my 3DS broke at the Start of an certain Pandemic. Luckily I have a new Wii U now but the preowner modded it and now I can’t use any online functions but still this song has a special place in my heart.

Hi late but I've done research on this topic. I haven't found anything for the Wii U, but Kazumi Totaka has been involved & credited in making iconic music for the DS, Wii and 3ds so its likely he is involved here as well. Some videos of Mii Maker Wii U theme credit Koji Kondo but I don't think I've seen other examples of him working on nintendo system music, yet this track does have a memorable melody; usually found in Kondo's works but again that is something any composer can achieve.

He inspired me to purchase the 3DS, He had an Aqua 3ds and I had a red one, He also had a Wii U, and we played so many hours on it together. Then my mom told me I was moving. I got my system in February of 2014 when I was 5, and I still use it. The gamepad battery however grew due to the large amount of usage that it can't fit in the slot anymore, so I'm using a Classic Controller Pro while I get a new battery lol

The Nintendo switch needs music. I miss the comfy UI and UX from their older consoles. Nowadays the UI is flat. Functional. Nice I suppose... But I dunno, I'd like it to have maybe a touch more personality. Just a dab. There was the NES Golf easter egg in the system at launch, but that's gone. Themes? Pssshhhh. You wish! Flat UI and UX like this is okay on things you use every day, like a phone or computer. They need to do what we need them to do, no extra frills. But a console? It has room to experiment.
