Read me! ✨ Total I spent on this build: 256000 jpy = $1800 Why 3080? I got it secondhand for 122000 jpy ($848) and the only white GPU with a reasonable price available in the local market that time. A brand new 3080 is $1600 and a 3070 is $900. So it was at a steal price 🤷♀️ Why 5600g? 5600x is $60 more expensive but only 8-10% faster. I just thought it's not worth it (maybe it is because of all the complaints I’ve received here lmao) I know I forgot to put the IO shield (bec I didn’t know it should go on the case before the actual mobo when I recorded this video💀) and I didn’t bother to put them now because it’s just too much work and since I’m changing my mobo for a B550 soon!

Your creativity with this build is really impressive! I was surprised at the price because you got a 3080 and usually something like "pink and white" would drive up the cost, but you found ways to keep it down while still achieving a nice aesthetic. The only thing I'm unsure about is the fan placement. From what I've read, you want to have exhaust fans at the back, with intake fans blowing toward them (so, youd want the fans on the front). Another good place for exhaust fans is through the top of the case, i believe because heat rises? TBH I'm no expert, but that would be something to look into in terms of cooling because at the end of the build, it does look a bit like you have fans everywhere and perhaps it could be better thought out for optimal circulation. Still, as everyone is saying, this is a fantastic first build!!
@z4k1_zaki65 Жыл бұрын
Yes, the common practice is to have the front and bottom as intakes while the rear and top as exhaust. For her case (pun intended), it only allows 3 fans at the bottom, 3 at the side and one on the rear. Her configuration are: 3 bottom fans as intakes while the other 4 fans (3 side and 1 rear) as exhaust. This is called a negative air pressure flow as she has more exhaust than intake. This will slightly effect her CPU cooling but will improve the GPU's cooling. It's usually recommended that you go for a positive pressure setup but in her case (pun intended again) a negative pressure would be much better overall.
@MiidoChannel Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! This case is not best for airflow because of two mirror panels, but it looks cool. I just followed the recommended airflow from the case website. I'm not getting temperature issues ☺️

I'd swap the cpu for a 5800X since it's commonly under $250 now (in my local market anyways) and the 5600G splits its onboard memory between the cpu and onboard graphics (that you don't need) so it kind of underperforms and you should see the benefits of two more cores with what you use your pc for

Congrats for your new PC, you did a great job choosing the parts, and the mods you`ve done were great. But if I may alert you, you are probably loosing a little bit of performance from the GPU by going with de 5600G, it's not a bad processor, but you would be better off with his twin, 5600 or 5600x. If you look up online a bit you'll see that there is a performance gap for basically the same price, and since you already have a discrete GPU, you won't be using the integrated graphics unit from the 5600g. That's a small datail that won't make that much of a diference, but here's a tip for you to make the most performance per dollar. Thanks for the video

Really good job, I'll recomend you to buy an M.2 SSD, is a lot faster than the sata one and right now are really cheap, a WD Green of 500GB NVME will be a good choice for the OS and editing. And about the video card, yes change it to horizontal, the bad thing about the vertical place is that is close to the cristal and this limits the air flow, and the tubes of the AIO turn down the AIO with the tubes down this a a tip, the tubes should be always down (so the air always stays in the radiator) and in your case so the tubes turn in the other direction so the GPU can be mounted horizontally, other than that is a really cool and nicely good job, cheers.

For all the commenters saying the 5600g will bottleneck... On 1080p the possible bottleneck is around 10-15% which is really nothing. On 1440p this drops to around 5%... And for the people saying she should've gotten a 5600X at least, the best option between the three is the 5600 non-X because its the exact same CPU for less money. But the performance difference between the 3 cpus is in worst case scenario 10%. The CPU doesn't even matter in the first place because the GPU is most likely being suffocated by being so close to the side panel. Apart from that its a really solid build especially for your first time, the only slight worry is the PSU getting tripped by the 3080's transients and you would really benefit from an M.2 ssd. So for the first upgrade you should probably get either a bigger PSU or the SSD, don't worry about your cpu for now.

@nikumimito3164 Жыл бұрын
I don't think i've ever seen a case where the battery is up on the top and the there are fans on the bottom. Since warm air rises it makes more sense to vent the hot air from the top rather than pushing hot air down through the bottom as its less efficient. You did a good job for a first time PC builder yo.

Times have changed. There're pink tools and pink fans already 😆. In my days they're all freaking black or transparent. Nice build btw, very wholesome & cute.

ryzen 5600G was probably not the best choice but if you play 1440p or higher it should do it's job. the watercooler is extremly overkill though.
@shawty112 жыл бұрын
Agree on this. 5600x would be much better choice since she have a great gpu.
@durschfalltv75052 жыл бұрын
@@shawty11 yep. But now she should not upgrade. Her motherboard is fine and her cpu is fine. If she upgrades she should do it next year to Ryzen 7000 when it gets cheaper.

@@durschfalltv7505 How is her motherboard fine if it only supports PCIE 3.0 and the GPU is for PCIE 4.0 ?
@durschfalltv7505 Жыл бұрын
@@randoguy7488 Cause PCIE speed doesn't linearly scale with performance. Up to a rtx 3070 even pci 2.0 is enough. For anything but maybe a rtx 4090 pci 3.0 is enough.

Tip: it's a good practice to assemble everything outside the case to check if all the stuff is working. Good Job :)

looks good :) as a pc builder only 1 thing bothers me. the water cooling. it is better if its on the top is attached to the case because then the water is distributed inside. as it is installed in your case, the water always collects in the lower area. but there is no other way you could have solved this better so thumbs up :) have almost the same case except that I also have fans on top (water cooling) and the power supply is behind the motherboard because the case is wide.

This was really good especially for your first time building a pc props ! Only advice I can give is if you plan to upgrade to four sticks of ram next time you install the aio have the tubes facing down on the cpu block part so it doesn’t get in the way of ram slot 1 , other than that great job I paid so much for my 3080ti before prices dropped I feel your pain 😅
@athzenwinters51572 жыл бұрын
what about the graphics card? wont the tubes be in the way of it?
@astropie31972 жыл бұрын
Why would you want to upgrade to 4 sticks of ram. 32GB is plenty already, plus 4 sticks is slower than 2 sticks. You really should only need to install 4 sticks if you’re going for 128gb or more.
@Thirdeyestrappd2 жыл бұрын
@@astropie3197 actually all modern cpus like zen3 and 12th gen perform better with 4 sticks so idk what your on about the only difference is 4 sticks or dual rank is more stress on the iMc (internal memory controller ) so you may get less frequency unless you have good silicone and asic quality
@Thirdeyestrappd2 жыл бұрын
@@athzenwinters5157 it can be with really thick cards like 3080ti and 3090 but most of the time no it will be about and inch or 2 above the gpu :)

@@astropie3197 and some people have 8gb dimms especially bdie ram so 4 is still gonna be 32gb

processor with integrated graphics and a 3080? you would have opted for the 5600X.

Nice to see how u handled all those problems haha, i actually got here from pcpartpicker cuz i saw some picures of the pc and a lil bit of ur room, it looks really good for ur first time building a custom pc for yourself, im sure you did some crafting or idk how it's called in english but im sure you already created some creative stuff or sth like that cuz that kinda asthethic needs a bit experience i think, anyway keep up the good work 👍

Animalito... Qué desastre de build. He llorado al ver la fuente montada junto a esa GPU. Al ver la placa me quedé sin palabras. Pero lo peor fue sin duda ver el CPU. Menos rosita y más leer. Menudo desperdicio de dinero.
