Great interview! This was needed to know about back in the day with clowning into now days where Krump is today. I would want to see a interview from Tommy the clown and the old generations of hip hop clowns. Larry, El Niño, Big Bop, Roco etc.

I remember clowning and krumping groups like krumpsquad Hazard fam, Playboys… And many others. To say two people created it sounds crazy to me. I grew up in Orange County. and never met or heard of you niggas till Cartoons made their first krump DVD.. tight eyes was the highlight of that video along with the rest of the cartoons, not taking anything away from mijo but was he on that dvd?

Mijo never elevated krump. Tight eyez literally put it on his back from the streets , to dvds, to movies, to international. Mijo only relevant because for years eyez gave him his flowers by saying he a co creator but outside of that mijo havent even done 10% of what tight eyez has done for krump period and im from LA over 30 years old . Ironically im from 83rd and normandie and still mijo was never making noise from the beginning and even until now . Dude lokey always been frontin dude date white girls and kick it with beast lmfao. Mijo a tongue ring type of dude 😂

Well the difference is Mijo's whole life didn't revolve aroound dance like it did Tight eyez life. They both created Krump but they were very different people. Mijo had an education, a football career, a fighting career, and has a child. Yet tight eyez dropped out of school, has no education, has no other passions, no kids. So ofc he's gonna be way more involved in the Krump community because thats all he has, which is fine. But don't downplay Mijo's role in Krump just because he had other passions
@leeroyking1088Ай бұрын
@@idontknowmyname6843 wtf TE got a whole son and what are you talking about both they lives revolve around dance tight eyes is just a bigger icon , rightfully so and more successful. mijo ain't no professor or no professional athlete and even in the world of dance mijo is a c list tier while tight eyes is a god a legend in the world of dance. Tight eyes is just better at life and got a black wife and family while mijo out here coo🦝nin like the loser he is kissin white girls in the mouth . Tight eyes is arguably the greatest dancer of all time. Mijo not even in the top 50

Not trying to be messy but, if mijo beat tight eyez the first two rounds that means eyez got one rounded
@iGhostx01232 ай бұрын
Not impossible, they're both creators, OGs, FOUNDERS. Eyez claims the title of The Best, but in every story, "The Best" always takes a big L at some point in their career. Maybe that's what drove Eyez to become who he is today? Edit: not trying to be aggressive or argumentative. Sorry if my tone or anything feels that way. I get that alot.

@@iGhostx0123 Eyez took a big L to bboy junior and never let it happen again
@iGhostx01232 ай бұрын
@@KNWBDY.important idk, since ALLL of Bboy Junior's rounds are predictable as hell, and have been for years. Man's an OG in Breaking, nobody's asking him to innovate anyways. He would NEVER need to after the legacy he's paved for himself. In that battle, to me, Eyez had better rounds. But even still. Losing to Junior or Not. Eyez has taken Ls before that as well.

@@iGhostx0123 what krumpbattles do you reckon he lost? Might have to watch over em tbh
@iGhostx01232 ай бұрын
@@KNWBDY.important due to weird circumstances at the time within my Krump community, I can admit I haven't seen an Eyez battle in a long time. And at the time I was watching them, I actually very heavily followed him and was a very big fan, so I was heavily biased, and stood on the rhetoric of "He's the best" and "He's undefeated". Now however. In my opinion, With recent footage in mind, Beast cooked him. And I don't know any other battles that have happened more recently since.

80% of this podcast is Mijo beefing out Eyex. I was hoping to hear more about the history of Krump and personal experience from Mijo and Daisy. Keep the beef in private, man. Krump shouldn't be about this type of sht.

He talked a good amount of the industry that he was experiencing, he talked about what we should be focusing on in Krump like the idea of responsibility with in a big / lil homie, creating events solely for the business side of the culture hahahaha 😂but yeah he said some shit about Eyez and his beef but that 80 percent is definitely your opinion lol
@TheBeastCamp2 ай бұрын
We appreciate the watch and support. However, 80% is wild. Mijo may have mentioned Eyex but it wasn’t all in a beefy way either. Mijo mentions Eyex during their early years (history) inside and out of Krump: during their clowning journey, being in an arts program, and life in general. Yes the beef was addressed but never was the focus. This podcast spoke about many things: the industry and how to get in it as a street dancer, Krump and clown history, good and bad things on the current state of Krump, what Krump Needs, what Mijo would like to happen for Krump (the Congress Talk Idea), etc.
