Against all medical advice, I still managed to fly down from Vegas to Tucson (State was being hosted by U of A) to perform. Visiting director (who was also Director of Choirs at University of Washington) was so impressed, the guy literally called me his hero...and I do mean literally; those were his exact words. Eh, all thar shit was cool, but I don't wanna be that guy who's still stuck in the past. High school was at least pretty great for me, but dwelling on past glory is something that should be at least saved for resumea.
