Tbh i really dislike Mikayla. Like undisclosed sponsorships etc. there is so much to hate on her for. But the Matthew situation ain’t it. Also social media is her job. We need to stop purchasing products from brands that partner with influencers we don’t like. That’s the only way “cancelling” will work in the way we want. It sucks, but corporations only care about where we put our money. So it’s a win to not support influencers and brands that don’t actually care about customers. I’d rather my money go to smaller businesses that make quality products and listen to customers. Popflex is a great example of a brand that absolutely cares about customers, and you can see it in the products they make.

That guy is such a tool- she doesn’t owe anyone a review. Of course the paid sponsorships take precedent because there are contractual deadlines and obligations that need to be met. Honestly even her mentioning that she wants to review a brand is free promo for them regardless of she follows through. As a small content creator that develops content for products I receive from companies, I can confidently say that Mikayla's issue with not being able to post the content she says she's going to is due to a lack of planning and project tracking. This is exactly what happens when you just hop on and randomly tell your audience that you're going to do something, but then you don't ever take the time afterwards to plan out how and when you're going to work on that video you just promised. Then because you're not keeping track of everything you promised, you end up feeling overwhelmed when people start asking where all these random things are that you promised but forgot about. Which for a creator of her size, is completely unacceptable when she could easily afford an assistant to keep track of all this and help plan her content schedule.
