While I was scouring the yard in Newcomerstown, Ohio, I thought it would be a good idea to make this sort of video for you all. I apologize for the wind noise and such, but it was kind of difficult to avoid. Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoy this video.

There are places like this in most states; in my area, it is Brandywine Companies.They have a wide variety of used buses; from contractors and school boards alike. (On the school board side; their biggest "contributor" is Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia - which is rather cute considering that Brandywine Companies is Maryland-based.)

Ive never bought a bus from them but I personally haven't heard anything bad about them yet. I'm good friends with some people who are well acquainted with the owners there though.

I'm gonna be purchasing my friends 3800 bluebird with the dt466 engine my friend died from cancer in 2018 I'm gonna contract his number and drive in his honor and with his bus since it's going to be out of service I'm going to turn it into a memorial just for him

All of these buses are retired. Most buses here arent in great shape but some are.

@@Project681 Ya it is faded and has a little bit of rust but the seat a good tires good it runs nice I've never heard of any issues with it so far I've rode it a few times it is a ford Crown Carpenter bus and it is good to do another year of school

I'm not affiliated with Mike and B sales, I'd suggest giving them a call. They are in Newcomerstown, Ohio. That is a long drive from New Jersey. Best of luck to you, although I would suggest contacting local school districts and asking them about their procedures on selling their older buses.

Went to school in an 1987-88 gas Blue Bird buses like that during middle school, remember the number bus #191. and freshman year in high school. Going to school was a wolfington body gas motor international bus #179, the late bus driver started with a wolfington international gas bus #178, then he got a newer flat nose blue bird gas bus #187. I Went to school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, they didn’t start getting diesels until 1990, the year I moved to central Jersey.

How did you get those Blue Bird back bumper emblems off without damaging the corners? Did it have rivets, if wo how did you get those off? We have a few soon-to-be retired Blue Bird International 3800s and I want to get the back bumper emblems off before we get rid of them.

I usually grab yhe ones by the door. The ones on the bumper are typically riveted on and can be drilled, but its easier to use a cutoff wheel if you have one.
