People who said that Mike doesn't love El or Mike only use Eleven's powers or never protecting and save El might have amnesia or just an excuse to make everyone hate their relationship, keep in mind Mike took El in his house before he knows she had powers, he gave her shelter, clothes, and the meaning of friendship, love and promise. in season 2 he tries to call El for 353 days, he never stop calling her for a year, that is true love. In season 3 he (and Hopper) are the only people who didn't want El to use her powers, when that time possessed Billy attack her, Mike comforts her and say "It's okay, it's okay", he also said that he loves her infront of Jonathan, Nancy, Max, Will, and Lucas (people either forgot that scene or never watched season 3). In season 4, he went from Lenora to Salt Lake to go to Suzie's house just to trying to find Eleven, and when he found her, he doesn't question her hair, he just hug her. I don't know why people say that Mike like this, or Mike like that i can say that Mike love the love of his life since day one.

I will NEVER stop loving these two. You did such a beautiful job on this video, I'm legit crying right now. Eleven never felt happiness or even smiled but when she met Mike everything changed. He made her smile and laugh. Eleven woke something in Mike, that's why he was completely different in S2. He was incomplete. They both complete each other, Mike provides as sense of safety and protection. El always calls out for him when she's scared. Mike continues to make her smile and laugh. I don't care if people are hating on this ship, I'll forever love Mileven 💜

I love your video! I also agree with your statement. It's insane about the hate. It's like it came out of nowhere. Everyone loved Mileven for the first 2 seasons then poof hated them. Same with the hatred for Mike, I don't get it. They say he's toxic and terrible for Eleven but then perfect for Will? If he's toxic, then he's toxic, gender doesn't change that. Mileven is beautiful from being to end and if they make you happy, don't let anyone ruin that for you. Mike's speech was beautiful as well. Been waiting for him to tell her directly that he loves her especially after his subconscious declaration in S3.
