Mike and Ginger don't have Suspicious Minds, but thank goodness the Fine Young Cannibals do. What a great song! ~~~Get exclusive content on Patreon at / mikeandginger Twitter / playitagainmg

They do this song better than Elvis by a mile. FYC's best song is Johnny Come Home. It really showcases Roland's voice which is unique and sounds like he is at maximum vocal cord stretch. Anyways, the "she drive me crazy" was a radio friendly "pop song" that is all record company doing. Johnny is way more dramatic and real.

Elvis covered the song. The original was written by American singer songwriter, Mark James in 1968. Unfortunately it was a commercial failure for him so i guess he was happy for the royalties when Elvis picked it up.

I remember this song from my teen years, and i just realised the odd moves are reflections of Elvis. :D :D so clever humor. I found your channel 2 minutes ago. :D

Just found you guys and loving your choice of songs. Just watched your Yazoo reaction and have just subscribed to your channel. You should check out Fine Young Cannibals Johnny come home kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHmYhJhjbr10jKc great song. You might not have guessed but I think I'm still stuck in the 80's. Keep knocking these videos out. Great work

Thank you! There was so much good stuff in the 80s. I have FYC's debut album, and I've always loved it. Suspicious Minds, Johnny, Blue, Move To Work... it's a keeper, start to finish. -M
