Hate the idea of them being trolled and the threats. But are we are saying that Mike's fumbling, out of step, almost falling over several times (and not styling the recovery very well either time) attempt this week was several points better than Kelvin's dance last week? Oh come on judges. We might not be experts - but we aren't blind or stupid There seems to be a deliberate handicap marking system that has gone unannounced this year. It feels as if they gauge the potential of a celebrity - then mark each contestant against their own potential RATHER than against the other contestants. If that's the way the show has gone I'm not interested in it any more. The best is the best, and if you aren't the best - tough luck. try something else. Come on 30 for this!! And no.... I don't know as much about dance as many on the show But I know when I see a man stumbling, out of step and almost falling over several times. I don't need a degree in dance-ology to see that.

I can understand why people get passionate about their favourites, I love Catherine and JoJo sooo much, I miss them already, but Mike, his family and Katya don’t deserve the hate they keep getting. 1) People need to vote to stop their favs getting in the dance off. 2) The points the judges give, equate to however many couples that week (this week 9 points top of the board and 1 point at the bottom) it’s the votes that matter. 3) People keep saying it’s because he works for the BBC, he’s being kept in, but so does/did Emma B (Eastenders), Chris R (Mock the week BBC2), Catherine T (Scarborough BBC1), Karim Z (CBBC), Michelle V (RuPaul UK BBC3 via BBC iPlayer) & Dev G (DJ BBC1 radio) 4) It’s the judges that make the decision, so how can Mike & Katya be blamed. 5) If you have any doubts whether Shirley is qualified to judge, search her name in KZbin, she’s an incredible dancer, so I think she knows her stuff. Yes it did seem like they were over marked but maybe the judges can see something that we with the untrained eye can’t. I know it’s a long comment but I hope people won’t send death threats etc to someone who’s trying to learn to dance and entertain us, we should be kind (I’m talking about all the contestants not just Mike). Moan over hope everyone has a fab-u-lous day darling 😀

Love or hate these two Katya never lacks in content. She dragged dances out of Ed Balls, now Mike. Never uses the fact her partners are hopeless to play the “comedian” card. Throwback time: who remembers Kimberley Walsh Charlestoning to this? (The memories ❤️) This Almost feels a parody to that dance. very questionable marking in this I’m in shock this got 8s there were countless mistakes, very untidy lifts and at times out of sync. Mike kinda did a half swivel so props for trying the technique. The whole thing just looked laboured but Mike goes for it 100% which I like 6

mapsandstuff29 well the “feet in the air “ iconic move is recycled but the main difference is that the tempo is slowed down quite significantly which to an extent made the whole thing look a little laboured. But I admire his effort

I loved this. It's one of my favorite Charleston songs (Pasha and his celeb did a really fun one a couple of years ago to it), and I think Mike did a bang-up job. Great atmosphere,lovely swivels, excellent musicality and wonderful synchronicity with Katya. Mike is always trying his best and one can see that he was working very, very hard on this routine. For me, technically, not to mention performance wise, he did an excellent job and he didn’t disappoint. His swivels could have been a tad smother, he lost some of his steps and the lift could have been cleaner, but as a whole it was a strong performance, it had a very good leg action, it had a good amount of content, and I really hope that Mike will keep improving, especially in his Latin-American. A 7.

Mike and Katya's catchy feel good routines are the only ones I replay over and over again. They don't deserve all the bitchy comments. One tweet says that Mike nearly dropped her during this but in fact it was Katya's mistake and Mike managed to save her from slipping off and carry on like a true pro.

Well Mike, ya did it. Ya made me a fan. This was definitely his best performance to date. His personality shined and his lifts were surprisingly clean and strong. There was a rough part towards the end, but overall I was impressed. (7)

We’re over halfway through the competition. The time for handing out extra points for just for enthusiasm and/or trying is long past. The judges need to do their jobs and judge the actual dance. Mike is clearly the weakest dancer and the scores should reflect that. It’s extremely unprofessional to judge those who can dance on their mistakes and let them slide for Mike just cause he’s giving it everything. Tough it’s not good enough.

Holly S I know it seems harsh that people are like that but it is a dancing competition and it’s about who’s the best cos it’s a competition. Whether it’s this week or in 3 weeks if he manages to survive that long, he will go at some point because he’s not at the standard of Michelle, Kelvin, Karim or Saffron and the viewers at home aren’t going to keep him in if he doesn’t deserve to be there. The lift around 1:05 which lead into a turtle didn’t feel right. Good timing with mistakes (at the sections where the lyrics were “made a mistake” he made a mistake apparently? Very entertaining under the microphone with quotes like “THATS my hat!” And “where has she gone?” If we were voting on who had the best commentary under the microphone, Mike would win. Overall, the footwork wasn’t great, there was impressive lifts, it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. For mainly entertainment: 7.25/10

Well.. He had fantastic facial expressions. But I swear, every week seems like a parody. But Technique has improved I Must Say Since Week 4 (Apart from Week 5 - that samba.) And he was right in his comfort zone. Mike I feel has been in the dance as many times as he has now and Although he is not as good on techniwue as other celebs, he has improved. Emma's samba was not good tonight. I Love Emma, But the content was not there. Alot of Potential though. Hard One This Week. After Tonight's Result show, Mike and Emma W were in the Dance Off. Mike Got 3 Votes and Emma W Got 0 Votes, Which Meant Emma W & Aljaž were the Sixth Couple to leave the show. I Would've Saved Mike. Emma Has A Lot of potential. Ballroom is her good side, Latin Not so much. If she got another dance like Waltz, Foxtrot, American Smooth (basically anything Ballroom) she would of nailed it. But The Samba didn't do it for her. Mike had the better choreography and Dance to be honest and had a cleaner and more prepared routine. I do feel Mike Needs to leave the show soon, to let a little competition stay. Loved Emma Weymouth though, one of my favourites this series! And Aljaž did an Amazing job with her!

His swivel was actually alright, better than Emma B not so much though. I wish Katya would not give him a comedy routine, it is just not the same as Ed Balls and Ann Widdecombe. Mike can dance so don't make him do these silly routines, technically Catherine and Dev are miles better but I heard someone sent him a death threat which is just absolutely ridiculous. His timing wasn't bad and he kept up. I don't think he has lived up to his week 4 Quickstep though. *7/10*

Mike definitely improved! this was quite good but overmarked. compared to the two Emma’s and Saffron? this was definitely not better.
