Babcock will be perfect for Toronto the players won't be able to ignore the system the coach is putting in place like they did with carlyle/horacek if the do that with babcock they'll be gone

Jonathan Nevitt horachek was a step in the right direction, it actually exposed this teams flaws. Carlyle actually sheltered their play, so in a way he knew they had a weakness and kept playing that style, problem is carlyles system was unsustainable, and horachek' didnt fit with the current squad.

As a red wings fan and a original six fan I hope Babcock succeeds in Toronto and turns that team around cause hockey needs its original six teams and especially it's Canadian teams to do well for the sport to grow. Now having said that what Toronto doesn't realize is you can have the best coach in the world but if you don't have great management it doesn't mean squat.

Uh no. Not keeping Bowman,and letting his son be GM,with choice of his coach,was our regret. But with Stevie,it will get back on top. But with what Holland,Babcock and the current wings coach did,it will take at least 3 more years,to become a contender again,first is just making playoffs again,next year.

There's a Difference between tough coaches,who are the greatest,you need to be with players,like Scotty Bowman. These coaches are hated by the players,seldom loved,but they always have respect for the coach. And such a coach as Scotty,with most players,never lose that respect for him and know he will get them to the top,if they listen to him. But wanna be elite coaches like Babcock,by their antics,going over the red line,with their players,into abuse,may win big for awhile,but never as much as they should have,and will have the ultimate fall. Even 7:17 just asks him about his anxieties..... 3 female reporters, and not 1 hockey related question. That, ladies, is why you have such a hard time in the field.
