Mick, you might haven’t saved the world yet, but you’ve certainly made the world a lot better place for so many people. I personally witnessed the joy and passion you brought to the Sean McDermott Street community in Dublin back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Your efforts there resulted in the establishment of numerous social and sports programs, especially for youth, that continue to thrive to this day. You brought a lot of smiles to the Sean Mac faces and made many lives enjoyable despite the surrounding poverty. You are a bright light in this universe.
