R.I.P. Tike...I will always be thankful for such a wonderful couple. No matter the crappy writing or lack there of...Jenna and Harry made them what they were. They didn't even have to say anything and they still were golden. On another note, having Blaine be some stand in for Mike...and using Mike as some plot device to build Blaine up by trashing him to use him for comparison...something that isn't needed or necessary. No just no!

Gosh, still don't get why Ryan decided to break Tike up and turn Tina into a complete psycho for Blaine .-. Mike and Tina had such a healthy and loving relationship that I was sure would survive the distance! ;A;

tike's relationship is so strong and sweet. and I love this moment between mike and his dad. its good to see another strong father son relationship like kurt and his dad in this. even if it took mike's dad a little longer to see the light.

There was no actual break up...it apparently was during the summer OFF SCREEN (which was another slap on the face...given how the other couples got something more meaningful, A STORY) and was mentioned the very 1rst ep back in Season 4 and ironically enough was brought back up in the worst way yet again in the 1rst ep back for Season 5. Some off screen mess about how Mike dumped Tina due to her not being Asian enough. Not to mention, they rewrote Tartie's break up by going w/ the stutter mess...now saying Artie dumped Tina. Yeah I kid you not! >:-[

This scene hits home for me. Being an Asian-American, it takes a lot of work to try and make your parents proud. All we want is their approval. That's why we work so hard in school. But, when our passion is something in the arts, it's almost like we let them down. So a scene like this shows that you just need to follow your heart and your parents will understand and be proud. It's such an important scene and I'm sad it got cut.
