John Ozersky, the mid 'aughts and the early NYC BBQ scene:
BBQ was still very much a new and emerging trend back in the mid 2000's in NYC due to a variety of reasons not least among them were Manhattan's air quality zoning laws covering wood smoke as air pollution. For this show I tapped a young journalist I knew at the time, Josh Ozersky, AKA Mister Cutlets, for his first ever television appearance. Josh was one of the earliest and most enthusiastic proponents of NYC BBQ, then writing online content as the founding editor for New York Magazines Grub Street column. Together we'll visit Chef Adam Perry Lang who had just opened Daisy May's on the far west side. And RUB ( Righteous Urban BBQ ) on 23rd st, the brainchild of Paul Kirk, a talented Pitmaster already in the BBQ Hall of Fame.

Mike do more you recommendations. Miss it especially on Tv. I was raised in the farm in the Caribbean and we did lot pig roast’s and used a lot of the other parts to do other recipes. Oh , I do enjoys nice delicious rack of lamb. Thank you for sharing.
