@@skip1961I think the dog fight would've helped Callum . Beterbiev was very sharp defensively and Smith was too rusty to get the offence off. Same thing happened with Canelo too , just beterbiev is an animal

No, it's all within one weight class. Bud and Unoue have proved their worth in multiple weight classes.

@@musicclassic5938 Fair point, but at the same time everyone had spence in the top 3 for a long time and said if he wins against Bud he will become number 1 p4p. I think with the resume and the level of opponents Artur has beaten, he is in a similar situation that spence was in before the Crawford Fight. This is Crawford vs spence at 175! Just my 2 cents on this:)

Only thing bivol has going for him is youth and speed Beterbiev has a very good chin and very hard punches.... But is 38 If bivol can move... Jab and score rounds without getting tagged by beterbiev.... He can win But i think beterbiev wins

He is definitely overwhelmed against P4P class fighters like Beterbiev or Canelo. Deontay Wilder admitted that Beterbiev's power is comparable to that of his own, and we all know that Artur's boxing skills are on a par with those of Bivol and Usyk.

Gvozdyk is not several levels below canelo. In fact, he would beat canelo and Bivol at 175. You guys need to understand that Beterbiev and Gvozdyk were the A team for their respective countries (Russia/Ukraine) in the ammies. Kovalev and Bivol, the better known boxers to western audiences are inferior to fighters to Beterbiev and Gvozdyk.

Bivol will not let beterbiev walk in so easy and that will be the biggest task for beterbiev to win. Beterbiev ain’t the best at outside distance so he won’t be able to land his money punches if he can’t get inside. I see this fight a truly 50/50 fight as close as it you can get. Bivol can definitely win on points and beterbiev can KO Bivol it will all be up to who can hold there game plan the best.

If Bivol runs from him all 12 rounds throwing nothing but occasional jabs at him he will definitely lose. This is not an amateur fight. But you obviously underrate Artur's footwork and boxing skills and ring IQ which are not inferior to those of Bivol, while the power gap is too wide.

Artur is not GGG he ain't one dimensional he can box and punch and his footwork is awesome his angle adjustments and the way he preserves the gas is amazing.

Modern boxing society has changed, they are the problem. We got used to the dancers, the runners, the so-called defensive fighters with ring generalship that are scared to hurt their pretty faces, so they run around jab sling, and cherry pick opponents. Thinking back to the past, the real true great fighters, were all fighters who went in to fight, engaged, got cuts, black eyes, busted noses, etc. Beterbiev, Bivol, Canelo, Golovkin where these kind of fighters. They go into the eye of the storm and get it on. They get hit, they get bloody. But nowadays, when somebody gets hit, "Oh we exposed him",..hahahaha what a stupid society. Beterbiev went in there like any serious real genuine fighter went forward and got it on. He doesn't go in run around hide, scared to lose his title, until he catches somebody. He fought Yarde, Joe Smith, and other real gunslingers. And at no time does he hide and wait for that lucky punch. So he gets hit, he gets hit in the face, the body, that's what happens with real fighters. Callum Smith is a real fighter, he doesn't run around either, he goes in and gets it on. "But" he is just not in that high caliber ranking, these guys will knock your ass out, you will hit them, and the announcer will scream "Oh he connected",..hahaha, yeah right. And of course, they are fighters, and it's all about who connects best. I tell you what Beterbiev and Bivol get hit, even get wobbled, but they also "connect". One day Beterbiev will run into a fighter and will go the full twelve rounds, and then what? All the rooty poots will come out, "he lost his power he is old, no good he got exposed". Like Canelo he hadn't knocked anybody out then Charlo showed up, he put his ass down for a count, then Charlo made it up and ran for the rest of the fight. So now they say Canelo is washed up because he didn't lay out Charlo, who is a good hider, he hid the rest of the fight. Beterbiev is the real deal. Marvin Hagler was the same great but got hit, bloody, and still whipped ass, even Rocky Marciano had a busted-up nose and cauliflower ears. Everybody wants to be Mohammad Ali, dance, and do the shuffle, but even Mohammad Ali went into the storm and got hit. Fighting is a bloody physical sport, and to be great you better not be scared to engage and get it on. Hurrah!!!! for Betterbiev, the real deal.

Sorry. Dmitry Bivol beat Canelo. He didn't "rout" Canelo. I believe the scorecards were 115-113 by ALL THREE JUDGES, which is hardly a rout, Mike.

This guy is full of crap. "Its not really the deepest division". Does amyone know thus guys ethnic background? He seems pretty biased against beterbiev trying to downplay his win against Gvozdyk. He says Canelo is better than Gvozdyk 😂 And the fact that Beterbiev holds 3 belts while Bivol only holds 1.. he doesn't seem to care about that.
