So, you have disdain for someone who didn't like the way his music was being twisted and commodified? I loved Soul Coughing, even El Oso, and I loved it for the complete conglomeration of sound, not just Doughty's songwriting. However, I totally get his resentment, and if you've ever been addicted to a heavy substance, you should have a little more understanding (not excusing) for some of his post-SC behavior. But hey, if coming on the 'Tube and thumbs-downing someone's performance because you don't agree with their past handling of their OWN life experiences makes you feel like you're doing something important, well, whatever dude.
