I think that not only will Leto's Joker have to compete with Ledger's Joker, but also with that twisted portrayal Cameron Monaghan gave in Gotham. Monaghan got twisted, and then as his face would contort, you'd see some Nicholson, and Romero, and Hamill. Unfortunately they killed him off, but his Joker was remarkable.

I love Kinda Funny, and I want the best for them. But, echoing Colin's sentiments, I'd never want Kinda Funny to look like Rooster Teeth. I love how humble Kinda Funny is (though they also have so many connections in the industry). I really dislike that super produced Rooster Teeth style.

The Sam Smith thing was a melody issue mainly, in the chorus I think. And while I disagree with the Gaye/Thicke case, as I understand it that was because of the overall "vibe" including the percussion etc. The idea of suing someone over a chord progression is pretty ridiculous.
