Mike is the best character in BB/BCS. He’s grounded but also emotional, he’s stead fast but also stubborn, he’s an order taker but also speaks his mind. Jonathan Banks deserved every award he won and then some.
@plugshirt17622 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say mike is better than jimmy, Kim, or chuck but he is next in line. I feel what makes mike such a great character is how much of a complete delusional hypocrite he is. He gets all the money he needs to support his family and his offers to launder it for him free of charge but mike chooses to work for gus because he can’t go back to a normal life as he doesn’t view himself as worthy of it and when he tries his trauma creeps up. In bagman he then tells the same lie Walt does that he is doing it for his family but mike is doing it all for himself. Nacho’s dad knocks him off his high horse by telling him he is no better than the other criminal scum and he is unable to say anything back because deep down he likely knows it is true. It’s also somewhat heartbreaking to see his morals decline form Barry being able to take a life in bcs to being okay with gus murdering children in breaking bad

Mike is a more elaborate version of Tarantino´s Winston Wolfe without the charm, but thats what makes Mike a more "real" and relatable character. Without a doubt one of, if not, the best characters in the BB universe. Thanks for the compilation!

Mike taking the kids to Disney World be like: Wake up! Ok now here's what's going to happen today. You are going to get up, brush your teeth, get breakfast and get ready to leave. Now we are going to the Magic Kingdom today. I have reservations set for Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Manision today. We made these months in advance, miss them, and we miss out. So I don't think I need to impress upon you that we are on a tight schedule. No distractions. See another ride that looks fun? Ignore it. See a mascot you walk right by. I don't care if it's Mickey, Minnie, Donald, or Goofy. Not a picture, not a hug, not even a high five. Is that understood?

I've been motivating myself with the imaginary voice of Mike lately. Works great. "Alright, now here's what's gonna happen, you're going to pick those clothes up off the floor, put them in the laundry bin, take them downstairs and do a load! While the clothes are dryint, you're going to go into the kitchen do all the dishes in the sink and cook some pasta and some of that ground beef! And you're going to chop up one of those peppers too, so they don't go to waste like last time!" Thanks Mike!

“Here’s what’s gonna happen, you’re gonna purchase fast food and disguise it as your own cooking. If he says he thought we were having steamed clams, you’re gonna say you said steamed hams. Your mother? All she needs to know is that it’s just the northern lights”
