I always hear his voice every morning at DZBB as I go to school for 11 years. Even as a kid, I'm being well aware of the news because of how he talks and finish his program from 5am to 9am. I find it very comforting, as if an uncle talking to you every morning as you're taking your breakfast and prepare to school and then evening while eating dinner. Whenever I am alone I purposely watch 24 oras and never felt lonely despite of any news of the day. You're a big part of my childhood. Thank you, salute to you Sir Mike Enriquez.

It's a difficult feeling when you're once his fellow news caster and you're now delivering the news of him passing away. It's heart breaking seeing them teared up delivering the sad news.
