Mike Fraser - Archive interview (2008) with a TOP recording / mix engineer

Mike Fraser is one of the top engineers and mixers in the World - in our view. Not only is he a super nice guy but he is immensely talented and has worked on a vast number of iconic records with artists such as AC/DC, Aerosmith, Nora Jones etc..
This is a lower quality video shot at the old Sphere Studios in London just after the AC/DC Black Ice album had been released. There is so much useful 'stuff' here for people interested in making great records and well worth a watch!

One of the greats, and a great person. Yep, decisions - why are we so afraid of making ‘em? LP vs CD - no comparison. It takes a special person (and massive patience) to root through dozens of tracks to “build” a song - ridiculous. Make decisions before you mix! Nice discussion, down to earth philosophies.
