Nobody misses Goldberg. He's a loser. That's why this video has only 100 comments. Goldberg got what he deserved. He's a POS and treated his wife and family terribly. I personally had a connection to ufc corporate and went to many fights and saw 1st had how these losers used their positions to couch interview girls who thought they could make a career out of sleeping around w these guys. Mike was the Weinstein of the UFC. He is an OLD FUZZY BLANKET WITH HOLES. This loser would cry about everything all the time! It was pathetic. I know his ex girlfriend Fernanda Pires. She was the couch interview that stayed. She cheated on her husband with no less than 7 guys at the ufc and worked her way up to Mike. He even went to her brothers wedding (while still married) She told me how he was always depressed and crying about stupid shit. I read the text messages. It's just pathetic. Karma is a bitch. Fernanda left her husband thinking Mike was her meal ticket, 6 months later he lost the only good job he had. That's karma.

His off the cuff remarks Were easy to let pass by Due to Rogan Joe would always correct him and that was part of the broadcasting I actually found to be a little entertaining I have had many of laughs at Goldie saying something and Rogan sitting him straight It was never in a bully are I know more then you Kind of light I always took as a chemistry no different then two great friends watching and talking fights One the expert and one the passionate fan I have promoted over 15 MMA fights My brother fought in Strikeforce and lived at Matt Hughes place I have traveled with them to big fights My brother was one of the guys Who was with Matt Hughes Helping him prepare for his last fight with BJ Penn I am mentioning all that to show I have a huge love for MMA At the same time I have friends who love watching it But when it comes to the technical stuff Like how to escape a submission are simple terms and techniques like switching levels and Why fighters do some of the stuff they do Like circle and why they are circling in the direction they are and how to set up a take down They are not that knowledgeable But they still go crazy and love it When they are watching an exciting fight So to me That is the same way I looked at Rogan and Goldie
@Expurg8d17 жыл бұрын
That's one of the draws for Goldie. For a casual fan he would say something incorrect and Joe would explain it. That's how I learned in the early days of UFC before the net and such. I thought Goldie and Rogan were a great pair, one the expert, the other the barker. But when things got exciting, they both became barkers. Rogan with his loud "oh!!!", made it more exciting. Do a shot every time you hear "embracing the grind", Goldie and Rogan made it fun to watch. I can't believe Dana didn't call him at least. Classless. You don't treat loyal people like that, Dana will reap what he sows.

I’ve been a UFC fan for some time now, and I can definitely feel that the fox announcers stank, and the new ESPN announcers are a little better, but the voices of joe and Goldie will always be the best ever. The UFC has changed for the worse, from top to bottom. Change is good but you DO NOT get rid of the voices that were part of their success. It’s like getting rid of all the voices of Major League Baseball teams, basketball teams. The UFC will be okay, but it will never be the same without the duo that made the sport what it is today.

Yea, Huge mistake by UFC getting rid of Mike Goldberg. He and Joe were great together and listening to them meant what we were watching was important. He did a great job too, so no reason other than the money, which is what this is about. The new owners of the UFC paid way too much for the organization (an embarrassing exorbitant amount) so they are trying to make it up any way they can, but Mike carries way to much brand recognition and letting him go is like giving away everything they paid for. Because once Mike calls a Belabor event, they will be equal to the UFC with out the exorbitant price tag.

Goldy seems like a nice guy. I prefer the laid back approach of a Pat Miletich to the carnival barker type of announcer. WME did not fire Mr.Goldberg. His contract was not renewed. He was really a good announcer, but not an analyst. Not someone who can help our viewers understand the techniques and stakes of the fight business. He was good at reading stats, and did support Joe well. I'm not taking anything away from him. It was a necessary decision. Taking Mr.Goldberg out, along with all the other 120 contract cancellations makes sense if you are a company acquiring a new property.. You want to put people in that obey you, that you can trust and that are loyal and reliable. It's very unfortunate, but we must understand from an owner's perspective with a 4 billion dollar asset debt that it was the only option.

What is your Guys / Gals picks for UFC 208 I have put the fight card below UFC 208 February 11, 2017, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York Light Heavyweight "205lbs" Glover Teixeira vs. Jared Cannonier Middleweight "185 lbs" Ronaldo Souza vs. Tim Boetsch Co Main Event Middleweight "185lbs" Anderson Silva vs. Derek Brunson Main Event Women's Featherweight Championship "145lbs" Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie "The woman's Featherweight Championship "145 lbs" Is vacant. Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie Will be a historic fight in the UFC The UFC is opening up the Featherweight Division to the females fighters. The winner of this fight Will most likely defend the feather weight title against Cris Cyborg. That will also depend on the outcome of a USADA investigation that is currently going on with Cyborg Rumors are Cyborg is going to get a six month suspension and it's looking like late summer 2017 She will be able to fight for the title in the division That UFC President Dana White has stated was created for Cris Cyborg. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. A fight with Holm, Randamie are even current UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes Will definitely be a step up in competition for arguable the most dangerous female fighter in the world. And bring some legit excitement to Woman's MMA Which is evolving at an extremely high rate Hopefully the USADA investigation will be swept under the rug are she will get a maximum are no longer then a six month suspension Due to the fact Cyborg claims and USADA confirms she was not flagged for steroids The in and out of competition drug Cyborg tested positive for is spironolactone "Aldactone". Which is a known diuretic and is usually prescribed by a physician to treat heart, liver and kidney issues, as well as high-blood pressure and low potassium Spironolactone is popular among competitive bodybuilders and models. It is used as an anti-androgen, Because it counters bloating and water retention. This is why This may end bad for Cyborg and she could easily get a one year if not longer suspension from USADA. Their anti doping policy and mission to clean up the sport per UFC is very strict and they are not stupid Cyborg is very suspect and profiled by many MMA fans as a steroid user and to piss dirty with a drug that is popular and used by juice heads Its not looking good for her. Which sucks because I would love to see her fight Nunes, Holm are Randamie Which alot of people are sleeping on and are just dont know who Randamie is But I'm telling you right now Holly Holm has her hands full on Feb 11th at UFC 208 For the first time ever in her career as a MMA fighter and her previous sport where she is arguably the best female boxer of all time Holly Holm is coming off of 2 straight losses Her last fight was against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC on Fox: Holm vs. Shevchenko in Chicago on July 23, 2016 Where she lost by unanimous Decision Prior to that she lost her Woman's Bantamweight title that she will always be remembered for winning and shocking the world of MMA and even main stream media When she took out the unbeatable phenom Ronda Rousey in brutal fashion In her first Championship title defense fight against Miesha Tate. Holm has not fought in 7 months And I guarantee she has been working her ass off and is going to fight smarter and we are going to see the best Holly Holm we have ever saw. She has alot to gain in this fight and alot to lose She either steps out of the cage at UFC 208 As the first ever undisputed Woman's featherweight world champion and gets her record back on track Are she leaves the arena with 3 straight losses Germaine de Randamie will be stepping in the octagon for the first time Sense her 1st Rd TKO victory against Anna Elmose Which took place on May 8th 2016 at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Arlovski in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Randamie is coming into the title fight against Holm With the momentum and taste of victory on her side with 2 straight wins against Elmose and Larissa Pachecoat which was way back on March 14, 2015 at UFC 185. Prior to that fight Randamie fought her most notable opponent to date Current UFC Woman's Banatamweight Champion Amanda Nunes Who she lost against by TKO in Rd 1 November 6, 2013 at UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky UFC 208 Countdown has been uploaded by the UFC via their official KZbin channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6KweKCfaNx_irc Figured some of you would like to check it out.

The new owners is going to throw UFC in the garbage. I’ve seen this before. New owners blows it because they have no clue about the sport

Men are judged on how they relate with other men things like honesty,morals, eye to eye contact,first impressions ,so what was White and Goldberg's at the time of sacking.As far as White is,what goes around comes around ,if true hes cooked

I liked him at that job, but man is he a tad bit grandiose, with maybe a little coke on the side (natural or not).

I've been a fan of the UFC since the beginning and I can't believe they fired Goldie. Terrible decision. If it's not broke don't fix it.

Mike seems like a cool person, but as an announcer I always thought he sucked. Aside from saying "So you wanna be a fighter?" he was always trying to give some dumb fact or statistic in the middle of the most action packed moments. A guys getting lit up and battered, Joe is screaming play by play, and Goldberg is of in la la land talking about something completely unrelated to the moment. No loss for me.
