Mike Herrera has been an inspiration to me since i was a little kid. Hes the reason I picked up a guitar and the reason I started singing and writing songs, This man and his music have helped me through so much its almost like his music tells my life story. I love mxpx and Mike Herrera. Thank you for being an inspiration.

First month in Covid lockdown I had to kick an opioid problem alone. Adele, Shinedown and Mike Herrera got me thru the worst. This song, omg. I was trying to sing with it, teeth chattering/chills/crying. By the 4th week I was killing it, singing with my hairbrush microphone lol. I hope musicians like Mike know the magic ripples that eminate from every chord. Thanks. ❤️

i became an mxpx/mike herrera fan around age 11, so that was back in 97-98ish. he was my first famous person crush and i had an entire wall of my room dedicated to him and MxPx. We went through a lot of color ink back in those days. I remember waiting an hour for my apple computer to load quicktime so i could watch Chick Magnet video and squeal with delight. I actually thought I was going to marry him at some point; I even tracked down his e-mail address at one point lol (sorry, mike!) I finally saw them in my later teens and again at the Stone Pony when I was about 20ish, in 2006 or so (crazy how you start to forget the years and ages!). My entire teenage soundtrack is MxPx pretty much. I'm delighted to see and hear Mike is doing well and doing his own thing now. He looks even better than he did 15 years ago ;)

each string would be tuned 1 note lower or "one fret lower". so if he were to play an open E major chord per say, he would in turn actually be playing a D sharp major. glad to help you dude.
