I LOVE IT! Clearly doing a TPK was the first thing he wanted to do. Instead he settled on telling the cast that all future NPC's would be named "David*" (or some other bland name). But definitely, TPK! Great video!!

To those of you saying Matt should have anticipated this reaction and/or run the name by someone else, do note that it was a name he improvised on the spot. It also wasn't technically "Mike Hunt" that he said, but the cast switched it to that in part because of a gag in the film Porky's. Youngsters might not recognize it, but multiple cast members start to quote that movie during the hilarity. And it was hilarious -- I don't know that I've ever laughed that hard at Critical Role, and they've given me lots of laughter over the years. I'm very grateful for Mike Hunt.

While I get that this was the result of coming up with a name on the spot, one would think Matt would have learned his lesson years ago after Purvon. A homework assignment for Matt, in the interest of trying to prevent this in the future: find and watch a montage of all Bart Simpson's crank calls to Moe the bartender. Or, try to get it out of the cast's system by running a one-shot in which all the characters and most, if not all, of the NPC's have names that can be twisted around to sound dirty.
