I'm pretty sure they gave him a real security briefing on the current threats and so he rightly changed his mind on his response. He then went down to the "Lardo and told him to back off or lose support. His "meeting" was reported on the news and then the follow up to tRumps hovel the following weekend. Cool shirt! Logan's Run is still one of my favorites. Hard to think that most of the people in the movie are dead of old age, but then I'm old too.
