sadly people don't think that way. I like the guy because of SU, I like a lot of classical music because of Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes, SCRUBS introduced me to a lot of good bands that I might have not enjoyed otherwise. Context means a great deal when it comes to music. If you hear a song while out partying with your best friend you might love that song because of it. If you hear a song just after the passing of a loved one you might find it depressing. A lot of people might not have found Krol's music if not for SU and there's a chance that if they had found this song before SU they might not have enjoyed it. As it stands this song is popular to many people because of a show that made them feel good and excited and happy and feel excited and happy for a character they were invested in. I say that it does matter what brings a song to your attention but it shouldn't be something to argue about.
