Mike Lies - Erebus Stories

Mike Lies was one of 22 passengers from the US onboard flight TE901. As the eldest child of four, Mike was born in Maryland and was 29 at the time of the Erebus accident. Mike’s wife Lena bought him the plane ticket for their anniversary, though Lena did not enjoy long flights so didn’t join Mike.
Jeff writes about his brother Mike’s life and how he learnt more about Erebus via the internet in 2003, 24 years after the crash.
